Saw NIN perform here in Nashville on Halloween night. It was truly a kick ass concert. Queens Of The Stoneage opened for them, they were good but NIN was the main thing I was there for. It was a sold out show. If I had to guestimate by looking around the arena, there were probably 30,000 people there. I was about 30 feet from the stage on the floor right by the "mosh pit". They played mostly their newer stuff, but some of the older too. "Closer" was of course one of the songs they did, and they closed the show out with their first big single from their first album "Pretty Hate Machine" "Head Like A Hole". WOW, the best concert I've been to so far. My G/F and I were dressed up being that it was Halloween night as vampires with fangs from Hot Topic. We saw a lot of people dressed up. Lots of HOT women there too...mmm...stockings and short skirts were the order of the night for many of them. We even bumped into "Marilyn Manson"...a tall woman who was pretty much the spitting image of the man, she had the hair, contacts and even the tattoos down to the detail. She was accompanied by a male friend who was dressed again to the detail as "Dr. Frankenfurter" of "Rocky Horror Picture Show" fame.
Their newest album "With Teeth" is very good too. "Only", "Hand That Feeds", and "Sunspots" are my favorite songs so far.
