I was using Apple for a long time but I have found that there is just so much more content for the Android.

Googles app policy is more laxed. Have to be careful though as some things probably slide through that shouldn't.

How do you gauge a winner by users posting their favorite apps? Favorite OS would be different.

Yeah this happened to me yesterday, I download an application and it ended up aging 100's of photos show up in my picture folders. Took me forever to get rid of them...they were all horror pictures too, dead people, people hanging themselves, devils, ghosts, hated houses, crazy shit.

Going to stay away from the halloween apps then. That sounds like an ebola virus for your phone.

wtf?! what even was the app? cant think of any good reason for people wanting to put such pictures on peoples phones for no reason.

OMG!!! That sounds horrendous! I'm curious to know what app that was too!

I'm working on creating a new app but trying to figure out if I should go with Microsoft Visual Studio, Xamarin or Java.

Thought you meant mobile apps and not OS.

Definitely android. Love the rooting capabilities and a lot of the different launchers / OS mods.

Woah!! That's crazy. I have any iPhone and like all the apps I have gotten on it. Had an android phone before but don't like it nearly as much. I switched to iPhone to use the square up app for my business. At the time taqueria up didn't work in android. Idk if it does yet.
