Just saw Sin City...

Awesome flick. Period. Not for everyone, but if you read the Frank Miller stories and liked them, you will love the movie.
 
Also, it is directed by Quentin Tarentno, Robert Rodriguez, and Frank Miller. That probably tells you a lot. It's violent, graphic, and everything else you would expect.
 
Just got back from seeing it myself, bad ass movie... I've never saw a movie like it before and I hope to see more movies like that, then again almost any Tarentno movie is bad ass and ground breaking.
 
It's not really a Tarantino movie. He's listed as a "special guest director," but the real directors are Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller. I can't wait to see it.
 
the movie is frame for frame exactly the way it was drawn out on the grapic novel. i haven't seen the movie yet but i heard that's what they did.
 
i hear that movie kicked ass. one of my friends is going to see it tomorrow i might go see it with Samz hehe....I'll try to pay attention this time

I saw the movie with my girlfriend the other day. She had her eyes open for maybe half of it. I knew it was going to be violent and told her so, but her response to the violence was more severe than I expected.

I think she was particularly disturbed by the more perverse aspects of the film. She is now accusing me of being very jaded and said that I would think such actions wouldn't be wrong if I heard of them in real life -- which I think is bullshit.

Um... sorry... this movie was damn cool, and I still know right from wrong thank you.
 
Sin City was one of the best movies I've seen in a LONG time, and is one of the very few movies that I'm getting on [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/mosdvd.htm]DVD[/words]. I haven't seen such awesome violence since Sonny Chiba.

BTW, for those who saw it, do any of you know the name of the theme song? I like it a lot!
 
holy shit yeah that was definitely one of the best and is now one of my #1 faves :D
