How much force on the strap?

I had used the Penimaster in the past, but stopped because geting the glans in the chamber with the ball kept going wrong ... loose valve.

I rediscovered it two months ago and I'm now using the tube to suck out the air. I attached a bicycle valve to suck through, so the tube can always stay on.

But that aside... for comfort I mostly use the elastic belt. On the waist. And I have two questions:

1. How can I best determine the pulling force? I now do it on 'feel'.
2. I would like to wear it on the knee. To get stretch on the suspensary ligaments too. But wearing it below the knee is uncomfortable when cycling. And when sitting down the pulling force is very weak. Does anybody attach it above the knee and if so, how exactly?
 
You should shoot for the maximum force possible without causing issues. Go for an hour at a time. If wearing strap above need I assume you are mainly standing. If that is the case your position is fine
 
Thanks! I think I figured out the optimal amount of traction. I wear the strap sideways and when possible I use the Rod extender. At night I sometimes wear it down.
