Heat or no heat ?

I saw a post on R3dd1t that said the following...

"Hi, Heat application before a PE routine does make it more pliable.....which I find to be a bad thing. You want the fibers to break, not bend or deform, so I find warming up of any kind to counterproductive. If I do any apply heat, its following a workout only as it helps increase inflammation. Just my 2 cents."

"Currently I hang heavy weights for a few minutes before any routine to break down the tissues a bit and make any routine more effective. Doing everything at room temps versus using heat was a trial and error thing for me, but my data said heat was actually slowing my gains. Its definitely something you have to get used to."

"The heat will definitely allow the cell walls to stretch and deform, versus generate cellular breakage that creates the gains. While warm ups help prevent injuries with weight lifting, its actually preventing gains during the PE process. So yes if you do any heat application, do so after workouts to increase the infallamation/repair cycle. Thanks."

Thoughts on this? It makes some sense.

In my opinion he is valuable only after you train as it will allow you to remain elongated with the healing measures of heat. Prior to doing length work a simple warm up of some light stretched is plenty enough. Are used to train very very hard and then I would use a heating pad afterwards for hours to encourage healing.

Perhaps I should stop using heat before my workouts if it really is affecting potential gains. I was always under the impression that it helped gains using heat before length work.

I am not saying that the theory he is proposing is correct but it does make a certain amount of sense in the area of breaking down tissue. But I never really put a whole a lot of work into warm-ups just some simple light stretching and massage I put all of my work into healing afterwards using different methods for the heating pad was one of my favorite.

Yeh I seem to be getting fatigue with my current setup that involves heat beforehand. Just wish I knew for sure which method, heat or no heat as a warmup, worked best.

Can you go into detail for me on how you would heal, was it just heat ? And how long after your manual routine? Every ounce of information I can extract from you is so valuable lol.

Did a length routine with no IR lamp for warmup or during. Things definitely felt more stiff without IR heat than with the IR, which is what Is supposed to happen i suppose. Still dont know how I feel about the theory I mentioned in the first post.

What I can tell you is men have used heat before training for a very long time so obviously there something to it, I just never really warmed up. I always saw the warning down as being more important.

A great warm down and warm up for that reason is the MOSRed. This is such a wonderful healing technique.

I hear those heat lamps could affect a guys junk causing impotence as the lamp has some radioactive stuff.....i don't really know. Anytruth to this?

Not with our lamps. They are of the highest quality the same thing you would find in salons where they would charge you $50 to hour to use it. Completely safe and extremely effective for many PE issues. The MOSred rocks

For me, if I use heat before my routine, it makes it easier for me to hurt myself because my penis because too soft to stretch. This is one reason why I don't use heat for length training.
