I'm going in for a first offense misdemeanor. I'm not going to say what it was, but it was non-violent and just stupid. They have enough evidence to find my guilty, so I'm pretty much doomed, lol.

My lawyer told me to do 100 hours of community service and the D.A. and Judge will more than likely just drop charges because its my first offense. I've only got 6 left. 100 hours may not seem like a lot, but damn, it is. When you're not getting paid for it and have to juggle everything else in you're life while cramming it in, its tough.

This happened in July and it's been a nightmarish experience since then. It would be one thing if I was just another regular criminal, but I'm not. It was an isolated incident and I was just unlucky I guess. I'm just glad it's almost over.

Anyone else gone through something similar anytime in their life?

Does your state make use of a youthful offender clause in sentencing? Like in mine if you are 25 or under you get a way better deal. Pennsylvania has something similiar to this like an intervention or some shit.

100 hours is not that bad. That is like 6 weekends in a row and your completely done.

If your going to college and younger, make sure that it is not drug related. It can fuck up student loans and grants. The worst thing is when you get convicted for drugs and then lie on your financial aid application. It is better to be truthful than found a liar with it.

Hopefully you didn't do anything with sex related. No one wants to have to register for the rest of their life for some like fifthieth degree crime like running around naked drunk and a kid or some old bitch sees you.

consider yourself lucky. I had to do 50 hours of community service for my school for FREE to even get my diploma. now thats what I call a rip-off, lol.

I just went to court today. Ir was a progress report hearing for my probation. I thought they were gonna lock me up for sure cause I just got popped 3 weeks ago. Turns out since it was in another county they had no records of it......yet. I told my P.O. about it though and he wasn't really trippin. I figure if they do lock me back up again I can just pull on my dick all day and do push-ups! Gotta look on the bright side of thangs. Ohh....and 100 hours of community service is pretty shitty. I had 155 since oct. 02' and I'm still working em' off. I think I'm only half way though.
