I'm going in for a first offense misdemeanor. I'm not going to say what it was, but it was non-violent and just stupid. They have enough evidence to find my guilty, so I'm pretty much doomed, lol.
My lawyer told me to do 100 hours of community service and the D.A. and Judge will more than likely just drop charges because its my first offense. I've only got 6 left. 100 hours may not seem like a lot, but damn, it is. When you're not getting paid for it and have to juggle everything else in you're life while cramming it in, its tough.
This happened in July and it's been a nightmarish experience since then.
It would be one thing if I was just another regular criminal, but I'm not. It was an isolated incident and I was just unlucky I guess. I'm just glad it's almost over.
Anyone else gone through something similar anytime in their life?
