IMO, I would go for one, then the other. Girth or length, if you seriously want to gain length, Then focus on that for a while.
Hanging is a game changer. Seriously.
Start with a 5 lb
weight, 3sessions,5 min at a time to start.
Week 2 do first session at 5, and 2nd and 3rd, at 7-1/2.
Week 3- 7-1/2 every time.
Week 4- 7-1/2 for the first, and 10, for the 2, and 3.
Work your way up, so you don’t get hurt. Add time for each hang time. 2 or 3 minutes more at a time. You will feel the tension and fatigue. Let that be your guide, safely.

i travel for work a lot, and away for 2 weeks at a time. That’s when I get my time in.
sometimes it’s 6 months before I can get back”to work”, but a month after I’m back, my wife will notice.
