FOOTBALL: Halloween weekend...call your picks and/or talk some shit

As always, I'm gathering information for my office pools, which I am having tremendous success with, and letting football fans have some fun here. The NFL matchups this upcoming weekend are as follows:

ARIZONA @ DALLAS

CHICAGO @ DETROIT

CLEVELAND @ HOUSTON

GREEN BAY @ CINCINNATI

JACKSONVILLE @ NEW ORLEANS

MINNESOTA @ CAROLINA

OAKLAND @ TENNESSEE

WASHINGTON @ N.Y. GIANTS

KANSAS CITY @ SAN DIEGO

PHILADELPHIA @ DENVER

TAMPA BAY @ SAN FRANCISCO

BUFFALO @ NEW ENGLAND

BALTIMORE @ PITTSBURGH

ARIZONA @ DALLAS

Dallas wins this game by a few touchdowns. If Julius Jones plays the Cowboys win by 3 touchdowns at least.

CHICAGO @ DETROIT

Chicago gets the win because Detroit came away with a win last week giving all they had against a nice Cleveland D, but Cleveland's running back is...not as good as Thomas Jones. Both teams want to keep the other from scoring very many touchdowns and so far both have won by doing just that while playing solid defense.

CLEVELAND @ HOUSTON

Houston will win this game just out sheer probability lol. I actually think Cleveland is the best bet, but I'm picking Houston.

GREEN BAY @ CINCINNATI

Cincinnati gets a team devestated by a horrid start and injuries. The Bengals should dominate.

JACKSONVILLE @ NEW ORLEANS

I'm going with Jacksonville.

MINNESOTA @ CAROLINA

Carolina should win this game and I think that they will. The Vikings will not get things going at any point in the year.

OAKLAND @ TENNESSEE

I'll go with Tennessee winning at home, but barely.

WASHINGTON @ N.Y. GIANTS

I'll go with Washington even with Eli playing at home. The Redskins look for real and are making that Cowboys loss to them not look so bad. Good thing the Cowboys are the only team in the east to have played another NFC East team so far because the Redskins win this game and pick up a game on the Giants.

KANSAS CITY @ SAN DIEGO

I'll choose San Diego. That loss was the worst way to lose a game if you ask me. It was worse than the Cowboys loss because I mean how the hell do you lose a game on a blocked punt?

PHILADELPHIA @ DENVER

Denver.

TAMPA BAY @ SAN FRANCISCO

Tampa Bay rolls.

BUFFALO @ NEW ENGLAND

New England thumps the Bills.

BALTIMORE @ PITTSBURGH

Pittsburgh dominates this game.

I like the picks, except I'm uncertain about Chicago and Detroit. I sit here and ask myself if the Bears can possibly win three in a row, with the third on the road, in the dome. I also am inclined to go with the Giants, although if the Skins could pull it off, that could be the payday for me, as most of my coworkers will pick the Giants. Anyway, I think the Giants are a significantly better team. Washington barely managed to beat two decent teams in Seattle and Dallas, and they've only shined against poor teams, if I'm not mistaken.

Here are some college matchups I need to pick in my other pool that I don't know much about:

OKLAHOMA @ NEBRASKA. I think that matchup is disappointement versus major disappointment, but I'm not sure which is worse, as I don't know much about them.

GEORGIA @ FLORIDA. Georgia is ranked number 4 and Florida is ranked 16th, but I really don't know much about these two teams this year. Any chance of an upset by Florida?

NAVY @ RUTGERS. I know Rutgers is having a decent year...by Rutgers standards. How they compare to Navy I have no idea.

MICHIGAN @ NORTHWESTERN. I am somewhat familiar with Michigan, but unfamiliar with Northwestern. Any analysis would be appreciated.

Those are the tougher ones to call. Easier games on the sheet would be:

OKLAHOMA STATE gets annihilated @ TEXAS. TEXAX TECH goes on the road to win @ BAYLOR. OHIO STATE should get a win @ MINNESOTA. WISCONSIN should have no trouble getting out of ILLINOIS with a victory. MISSISSIPPI will surely fall @ AUBURN. TCU looks likely to win @ SAN DIEGO STATE. NORTH CAROLINA has little chance of getting a victory @ MIAMI. MARYLAND is highly doubtful @ FLORIDA STATE. Happy Valley will be sorrowful when PURDUE visits @ Penis EnlargementNN STATE. UTAH STATE should lose @ ALABAMA. SOUTH CAROLINA would be unlikely to pull it off @ TENNESSEE.

D.J. Shockley isn't going to play in the game this week for Georgia and he is the only offense that team had. I think it'll be a tough drag it out old style SEC football game. The winner will be the one that scores a TD lol. I'm also a [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Gators[/words] fan so take that for what it's worth. Ray McDonald, the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Gators[/words] best pass rusher was hurt in the Tennessee game, but returned for a series two weeks ago at LSU. He'll be ready to play and I'd expect the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Gators[/words]' defense to be geared up.

I'm going with Northwestern in the Michigan game. Jason Hart looks really banged up and Chad Henne blows this year. I think Avant and Breaston will get a TD a piece, but Northwestern slaughtered Michigan State at Michigan State last week. This is a tough game to call man. NW has the best young back in the conference though in my opinion. Although Hardy isn't too bad either for Michigan...and Michigan does still have Hart...lol who knows?

This is for this weekend???

I thought the Rams were playing Jacksonville not the Saits??? no?

I think with the Rams new coach Joe Vitt we will do great! IMO he does not take shit, which Mike Martz took a lot off. Also his play calling is smart as hell, like last week, let Jackson get into the game, Jackson is a horse, let Faulk play some more with Bruce and Holt out as well. As for Defense, our blitzes save us in that game, along with a bad call on an INT late in the 4th Q.

But since Mike is gone the Rams just might get there shit together and win football games! I can't wait until Bulger, Bruce, Hotl and Little come back to starting positions, The Rams will be fun ass hell to watch!

What is the injury situation for the Rams?

Here you go!

DOUBTFUL WR Torry Holt (knee)
WR Isaac Bruce (great toe)
QB Marc Bulger (right shoulder)
CB Chris Johnson (back)

PROBABLE CB Travis Fisher (groin)
QB Jamie Martin (neck)
G Claude Terrell (neck)

Little did not attend practice on Wed, his brother got shot and killed almost 2 weeks ago.

I would go with the Jags, but who knows, were playing at home in the dome. So anything could happen. And if backup QB Jamie Martin can't play...that might be a blessing, because we have a rookie QB that can really sling the ball, even without Bruce and Holt a gunslinger just might help are offensive game out. The Rams are hurtting right now. But we got a bye week next week!
