Focused shockwave

Has anyone done any work with focused or targeted shockwave therapy? It’s often used for ED, Peyronie’s and other soft tissue injuries. It’s deeper than radial shockwave, which you can buy one of the radio machines for about 1200 bucks but not considered effective according to the research. I’m considering it for some ED issues. Testosterone has been added and has helped but that may need to be adjusted. Cialis etc. doesn’t work I just gives me a bad headache. So I was curious if anyone’s ever done this

I know this thread is a bit old but I want to let you know I got a gainswave treatment on a thrombosed dorsal penile vein last fall, and even though I ended up not having the money for the next two treatments it made a massive difference in my case in reducing the inflammation in that vein. I've heard a lot of good things about treating ED with it as well.

Just out of curiosity though, you got radial (external using off brand open marker devices) and deep (linear sonar type deep penetration in office visit only). Two different treatment types, using similar approach. Which is better if anyone can provide that info.

Now, the kicker is, sounds vs physical applied pressure, both provided transfered physical energy into the penis. The physical aspect is similar to the oscillating massage guns. Both induce physical energy at specific site to break down partial blocked and bad blood vessels. Sound costs into the high hundreds of thousands. Oscillating massage guns cost a fraction. Both does the same job. Not sure why the massive hype.

So one treatment was enough? How much money did it cost??

I'd say it reduced the effects of the inflammation by at least 30% in one session and I was supposed to get 3 more afterwards but got low on funds. It was $274/treatment at the clinic I went to, I think it was a bit reduced because the doctor was doing a targeted treatment instead of the normal full gainswave treatment for ED. I'm kind of excited after reading oldandlively's post though, maybe there's something I could do myself for a lot less money.

@NetscapeNavigata Gainswave do have their own home version for about $900. If you believe sonar shockwave is better than oscillatory, go for it. Long term investment is better than going to the clinics. But again, PE does just that. It expands the damaged nerves and blood vessels for remodeling (repair). Adding trauma energy like the sonar/oscillatory impacts simply speeds thing up even further.

But do know that to heal even faster during remodeling period, do use the proven red light therapy when possible.

Expensive

Compared to 4 treatments for optimal results, and long term as needed, I think it's a drop in the bucket. The best comparison is investing in eating healthy meals to keep healthy rather than visit clinics when you don't eat healthy to save some money. Being alive is quite expensive.
