Here's a Mudvayne song I was listening to recently. The lyrics resonated with the empty, hollow mood I was in at the moment- in essence, it got me thinking about how futile all of our earthly pursuits really are in the end. I may have been in a depressed mood at the time, but even when I'm happy I sometimes find myself questioning the meaningfulness of human existance. Not that I want to die or anything even remotely close to that; it's more that I can't seem to find a reason why we are here in the first place. I can't even put my feelings to words properly with my "limited" writing skills.
