Entengo Mulondo (Mondia whitei)

I've used it in the past, when I used the roots for experimental cooking and herbal drinking after my wife's friends taught me how to prepare African's ingredients for foods and drinks.

The question is, what are you using it for? Libido? Stress control? Anti-inflammatory? Digestion? Energy loading?

Depending on where you are in the world, stick with regular ginger of the area. If you can get access to gingseng, even better. If Mondia whitei is more readily available in that area, go for it. Otherwise, the property and potency is the same as normal ginger. This, of course, depends on how much you take it and for which purpose.

For me, I'm not going to spend a massive amount just to enjoy a slightly more bitter and pungent ginger root for the meals and drinks.
