Dry January

Alright gents,

I have started Dry January for the first time.
It's been about 10 to 15 years since not drinking for 1 month so wish me luck.
I'm doing good so far on day 2! Slight headache, but nothing too bad.

Are you talking about alcohol? If so...this is my opinions on alcohol. My opinions are not sensored.
If you want my opinions click the button below.

Alcohol are only destructive for your body (it's poison) and there is nothing good with it. That is my opinion about it.

I have lived my entire life without alcohol so trust me brother. You don't need it. Imagine how good you will feel when you don't have it in your system.

I hope this perspective can help you.

Good luck.
I'm here to support.
I know it's hard, but I also know you can do it.

I'm here if you need to talk.

Yes, that is correct.
It is where you abstain from alcohol for the month of January.
I feel pretty good about it. Thank you for the support.

You should be proud of yourself.
I know how easy it is to not celebrate our own accomplishments (own experience), but we need to sometimes just say "STOP" to ourselves, and think about how far we have come.

Every step and victory is big. You will make this happen.

Day 8! Weekend was tough. I just had to keep my mind occupied, clean house, and play with the kids. I feel much better now, day 2 and 3 (Tuesday night and Wednesday) were a little rough. I may go get some non alcoholic IPA today. Less calories than a coke.

Good for you brother! I gave up alcohol in August of last year after 20+ years of being a daily drinker, and the first few weeks were painful!

I do drink the non alcoholic brews cause at some point water just doesnt cut it. I like the Athletic Brewing co IPAs.

Best of luck!

I will have to try that one. I have had the Best Day Brewing IPA and its not bad. about 53 calories.
I was in the same boat, 8 to 12 drinks a night. My energy level has shot up massively the last few days!
I will have to channel that energy into the LM3. It looks intimidating, so we will see.
