Dont know what to think here? help

i ve found out just now my best friend in life that died in 1997 molested his younger sister that is now best friends with me and my wife after years of being away for colledge. She told me this just a few hours ago on MySpace instant messenger. I got so upset i got her to call me and sure enough...she said her brother molested her from age 6 to 11 along with her cousin. Hes died in 1997 as my best friend of 6 years. i now hate him. She is innocent.... how do i deal with this?

Just know that stupid bullshit like this happens, be aware. I know we all are, but it seems to be rare enough that we think it's something that only happens to others since we ourselves are not this way (like the guy who raped his sister). So when it happens to someone we know we get shocked, we feel helpless and don't know how to deal with it. It's her situation man, and just know that she's now safe and there's nuthin u can do to change the past. You can only offer her your deepest condolences and try and help her when she needs it. Also, if this was a while ago (I know it's new to you), but try and be sensitive while bringin it up. Sometimes people who have healed, don't wanna embellish about the crappy past, something in which caused them great pain then you know.

thanks man. my wife told me to not try and treat her differently as opposed to before i found out as that would make her feel worse about herslef. that makes alot of sence. thanks again
