I don't know that I've suffered any adverse side effects from it, as my dong seems pretty healthy, just not large enough.

This is nothing more than personal opinion, but I think that a cut penis looks more attractive and I think this is the opinion of many cut men and women that have only been with cut men. I don't see myself pursuing any foreskin restoration because the main benefits (the nerves) have been severed, so it would be mainly for appearance.

I believe it was Dr. Spock that sparked the circumcision thing in America. It's not a religious thing for most people that have it done to their kids, it's just the norm over here. I only know of one person that I was friends with in high school that was uncut, and my group of friends was pretty open about stuff like that, we didn't care if each other saw what we were packing. And even when I was about 5 inches flaccid I was bigger than any of the other guys!

I was one of the few from the USA in the 80's to not get cut. i think like over 95% of newborns were cut whil i was born. It wasnt until a few years ago that they asked parents about gettin cut.

My mother mentioned one time that the belief was prevalent when I was born that getting cut made for "less chance of painful erections" down the road. I know my father is uncut and kind of always thought he should have been cut, but he born out on the farm--no doctors involved.

ok here I'm cut. and for medical reason chose to have my baby son cut as well. At the hospital they us that nothing is really wrong either way but uncut's carry a greater chance of infection, especially at a yound age. and it doesn't seem being cut or uncut adds any length or damage to it so why not cut? this is a interesting topic to say the least.

My dad didnt want me cut because i guess he had problems with it. I never got any infections either. You just have to clean it thats all. Hospitals sell the foreskins to a research company. That's why it has been routine.

I was cut when i was 16 and wish i wouldnt have had it done. There is a slight different in sensation now that im 22 but the glans used to be so sensitive it hurt. Now that sensitivity has dulled a lot. I wish i wouldnt have had it done though. Masturbation is so much better uncut. I think if i restored most of the inner skin and got good rollover it would be about the same to me as the old.

Wouldn't it be safe to say that being cut is advantageous for Penis Enlargement. The various resources I've read on Penis Enlargement instruct uncut individuals to retract their foreskin for a stretching grip. They then go on to say that it is often very sensitive and painful in this gripping process and that it will take some getting used to. Just a thought, but it sounds like a drawback to me.

It is a legitimate discussion. We all want to know the opinions of people concerning whether or not this is something that should be done to our own children down the road. It is also worthwhile to know what implications in may have towards Penis Enlargement, or any adverse effects on pre-Penis Enlargement size.

I have no idea who you are referring to as being touchy on this, because i know it is not me. Discussion and debate is very welcome. As I clearly stated I wanted to suggest that there is no benefit in threads like "mine is best" or "my girl says this is best" as it adds nothing. I did not refer to constructive comments in the slightest and would fully encourage them.

I am sure that women in the states would prefer a cut dick with it being the norm but in the UK and other 'un-cut' countries I am sure it would be the other way around.

Well, here in Sweden almost nobody get circumsized so the feeling of being different is quite nice aswell. Before surgery I spoke to a number of guys who were circ'd as adults and every single one was thrilled!

Still I think it's extremely peculiar that doctors in the US (among other countries) cut of perfectly healthy bodyparts from perfectly healthy babies...

Well, remember that our low-browed ancestors walked around with nary a loin-cloth (we were one of the first hairless mammals, I think), in a rough-n-tumble environment where the skin was exposed to weather, parasites, attacks, plant poisoning, etc. etc. Since the head of the penis is the most sensitive and important part, I suppose nature came up with a way of 'protecting us'.

Well...while I disagree about the whole "evolution" thing...I believe other animals have foreskins. Have you ever seen a dog's boner? It pops out of the skin that hangs out. Same with horses.
