used the cap of a 64 oz laundry detergent bottle. The diameter is about 7 inches on the outer edge of the cap. I drilled a hole in the top slightly smaller than the rubber part of the wine vacuum device and inserted it so it is very snug. This fits perfect over the top of the Bathmate X-40. It pulls out some water which increases the pressure a little. The relief valve of the Bathmate automatically prevents extreme pressure.
A regular pvc tube that's flexible. You pull the first end over the pump/tube, and you need to heat it in order to accomplish this. Then on the other end you stick the cork that you get with the VACU VIN pump.
Yes you can relieve the pressure by pushing on the topside of the cork. This is my understanding.So you’re saying the control of adding and relieving pressure will be with the wine vac?
Awesome. I have a feeling that this mod is superior to buying the HydroXtreme version of the pump. I have HydroXtreme pumps as well, but their hand pump could be better.Ok I just ordered the vac. I’ll pick up some tubing when it arrives and rest this out. I love my gains from the hydro max so far. Super excited to speed the gains with more intensity

This is what I have come up with.
You can permanently fixate (always leave it on) the pvc tube and the cork.You can relieve the pressure on the topside of the cork.
Okey thanks for sharing. That was way easier, awesome.here is an extremely easy way i have been using this for many years just attach a piece of a thicker sleeve to the end of the vacu vin i have tape holding it because it's a bit short and comes off without the tape

You don't use the vacu vin cork?here is an extremely easy way i have been using this for many years just attach a piece of a thicker sleeve to the end of the vacu vin i have tape holding it because it's a bit short and comes off without the tape

Okey.no never needed to use it

@Bassman44 look at this.
Follow the link:is that just for convenience? Keeping the cork attached? I wanted to secure mine into a 1” Inside diameter tubing and press it against the valve instead of going over top of the valve of the hydromax just in case I can’t release the pressure.
Thank you sir.Excellent work my brother
Try it! I have always thought about that.is that just for convenience? Keeping the cork attached? I wanted to secure mine into a 1” Inside diameter tubing and press it against the valve instead of going over top of the valve of the hydromax just in case I can’t release the pressure.
Thanks I appreciate that.Awesome tutorial! Love your contributions
Okey. But how do you release the vaccum after pumping, if all that is semi-permanently attached?you can also keep the BM 'as-is' and just slide a short piece of PVC to act as a connection point for the VV pump...no need to dismantle anything and no need to use the VV cork
okey so you remove the pvc tubing to release the pressure/vaccum?The BM valve is spring-loaded so I just press-down to relieve any/all pressure
Okey I understand it now. I had problems to understand, how you release the vaccum, last time you explained this concept to me, thanks.the PVC tubing is only 2"-3" so I just leave it on the BM...my finger can reach the BM valve w/the PVC still attached
I think I need to order the PVC tubing from internet. That's why I tried out my method with tape.just make certain that you get the proper size of PVC tubing, IIRC it's 7/8" inside diameter but maybe pring the VV pump to the hardware store to double check. I also warmed-up the tubing a bit to make it slide over the BM tip
