Bathmate mod

Hey y’all, could someone direct me to the wine vac mod for the Hydro max? Or whatever vacuum mod you recommend ?

I am maxing out my pressure of my hydromax and would like a little more pull from the vacuum

Here is a video I found:

This text that was attached to the video:
used the cap of a 64 oz laundry detergent bottle. The diameter is about 7 inches on the outer edge of the cap. I drilled a hole in the top slightly smaller than the rubber part of the wine vacuum device and inserted it so it is very snug. This fits perfect over the top of the Bathmate X-40. It pulls out some water which increases the pressure a little. The relief valve of the Bathmate automatically prevents extreme pressure.

But you want to use pvc tubing instead of the laundry detergent bottle. You see that he gets a lot of air into the tube. I'm told you can heat the pvc tubing to make it fit over the valve (you do not change the valve, just leave it as it is).

Do we want to use 3/4 pvc with a cap? Then cut a hole in the cap to slot the cork? That’s what I gathered from the video
A regular pvc tube that's flexible. You pull the first end over the pump/tube, and you need to heat it in order to accomplish this. Then on the other end you stick the cork that you get with the VACU VIN pump.

I tried it out just by pushing the cork loosely into the valve (pushing to hard release the pressure), and this concept work.

You just need a pvc tube to make it air tight and connect it all together.

Ok I just ordered the vac. I’ll pick up some tubing when it arrives and rest this out. I love my gains from the hydro max so far. Super excited to speed the gains with more intensity

Maybe this will work as well.
You take the valve top of a HydroXtreme pump (or you have a replacement valve) and attach it to a hydromax model with a pvc tube. Then you can use the hand pump (external pump) for the HydroXtreme pump, to increase the vaccum in your hydromax pump.

But this mod will be more expensive, if you do not already have the extra Bathmate replacement parts.

here is an extremely easy way i have been using this for many years just attach a piece of a thicker sleeve to the end of the vacu vin i have tape holding it because it's a bit short and comes off without the tape

The VaccuVin mod works.

How to:
1. Remove the replacement valve carefully with this tool:

2. Then you have this: Top part of the pump.

It's now a hole right through.

3. Tape with Gorilla tape and electrical tape, to make it so, that you can't compress the spring.

4. Put the cork for the VaccuVin pump in place instead of the Bathmate valve.

4. Tape with electrical tape and self-vulcanising tape/self-fusing tape, to make it vaccum tight and water tight.

That's it. Now you can go beyond the original max vaccum/pressure. Be careful.

Here is how it looks like:

I don't know how long the cork are going to last, so in the future you can put a pvc tube, or maybe pipe between the Bathmate and the cork. In that way it's easy to replace the cork.

Hope this helps.

you can also keep the BM 'as-is' and just slide a short piece of PVC to act as a connection point for the VV pump...no need to dismantle anything and no need to use the VV cork

picture a 2"-3" piece of clear PVC fitting over the top of the BM tip, then the VV pump just fits at the end of the PVC...pump to your desired pressure and release by using your finger pressing the BM valve

the PVC tubing is only 2"-3" so I just leave it on the BM...my finger can reach the BM valve w/the PVC still attached
Okey I understand it now. I had problems to understand, how you release the vaccum, last time you explained this concept to me, thanks.
This will be better then my solution.

Need to remove the tape now, since the self-vulcanising tape, can really be hard to remove if you let it be on for to long.

just make certain that you get the proper size of PVC tubing, IIRC it's 7/8" inside diameter but maybe pring the VV pump to the hardware store to double check. I also warmed-up the tubing a bit to make it slide over the BM tip

I think I need to order the PVC tubing from internet. That's why I tried out my method with tape.

There are no more hardware stores in my town locally, that have these big rolls of different stuff (tubes and cables). This existed when I was a child. But no more. I'm lucky if I can find it locally. One store may have it...I need to check there.
