Are you ready for The Batman???

Hey guys, im a huge Batman fan and im really lookin forward to The Dark Knight. In my opinion The Christian Bale Bruce Wayne/Batman and the origin story of Batman Begins is the most comic book accurate Batman on film to date. I cant wait to see the murders, explosions, insanity and erraticness from The Joker in this film... I think Heath Ledger's take on the Joker will show on film for the first time, the true sociopathic viciousness that really is the Joker from the comics. the Nicholson one was really good and funny at times with his puns, but Burton's Joker was way toned down in violence and insanity and it didnt portray the sick fuck that the Joker is in the comic books themselves....so with that said i cant wait for next friday when we see the great written and acted movie that is The Dark Knight.


P.S. remember this, the Joker is only laughin on the outside......

Yeah it's Heath Ledger last flim,crazy what can happen, no doubt he will make the flim a success.

Reminds me of The Crow, and Brandon Lee.

yeah i have to say it kind of reminds me of that too. and even bruce lee himself, poor guy didn't even get to see enter the dragon come out, and on top of all that they edited out his favorite take, only about 20 years later did they release the version he saw in life and loved

From what I've read and heard from those who have seen the film, Ledger's joker is indeed a dark, dark character, much like the comic book character as I remember him "way back when."

Ledger was one brilliant actor, in my opinion. So sad to see him pass in his prime. I'm bet there will develop a cult following.

hello Batfans, i saw the movie last week and i have to say it was exactly what i thought it would be and more. just like i predicted Heath's Joker was 100% accurate in personality as the comicbook/graphic novel Joker. The Dark Knight in my opinion is the best comic book movie ever made so far, it has the same weight as the 1978 Superman in originality. what i like about Nolan and and Goyer's Batman series is that they write the characters and stories in away that they are believable and the things they do could actually happen in real life. while i was watchin the Dark Knight there were times that i actually forgot that i was watchin a "comic book" movie and it felt more like a serious play because the film is so dark and serious that it takes a life of its own. another thing i like about Nolan and Goyer's Batman series is that they refer to Batman as "the Batman" the character a mysterious/supernatural feel to almost makin Batman into a shadow or an urban legend other than a man with balls. Ive prefered for him to be called "the Batman" instead of "Batman" also "the Batman" was the original way the character was refered to in the late 1930's durin his early comic book stories...when his character was much darker and ruthless towards criminals...I just hope that series continues to be true to the Batman mythology and just a dramatic and violent as its been if not more . i hope they push for an "R" ratin one day for a batman movie.
