American Execution

Imagine if there was a show on TV for people on Death Row. People can vote from home on which method is used to put people to death. Only the TRULY guilty should be eligible, of course.... maybe they could make them sing for their lives then kill them anyway. Now THAT'S entertainment!!

i don't believe in capital punisHydromaxent because it's more expensive for the sate than lifetime imprisonment, you can look the numbers up yourselves.

as for jsutice for the families of the victims created by the crimes of the guilty . . .

how about a show that films them in a dark hole for 24 hours a day for the rest of their natural lives, slowly going insane from misery and isolation. personally, sick as i amy be, that would be more interesting. i've seen people die in groutesque and unusual ways, most have these days. to watch somebody suffer like that, well, thats truly out there if that is what you're after. just imagine a life in darkness, alone, for years, with no hope. a quick and brutal death would be a cherished reward after a few years of that, i would hate to see evil criminals get off so easily.

i have unforunately had something relevant happen to a family memeber, and although things are tied up in court for the forseeable future, my hope is is that, assuming we can prove the accused is 100% guilty, then they will suffer long and painful lives devoid of pleasure.

of course i only think that the families of the victims should be able to enjoy the suffering of the guilty . . . unless the government taxed it like crazy and spent the revenue on law inforcement that will help prevent similar crimes.

It costs MORE to execute an inmate than it does to keep them alive for the rest of their lives in prison? Really?

Your idea of a prison "Real World" would be funny.

I'm sure a living "body" could be worth more to the state, like using inmates for cheap labor or community service and shit like that... but an entire gameshow could rake in millions in advertising money, don't you think so?

I'm not talking about them getting off "easy" by just killing them... I mean like slow, painful and creative deaths. Or "experiments".

This would be strictly for the guilty and remorseless criminals condemned to death already, not just anybody like a drug offender or something lame like that. Just creatively killing off the most dispicable people one at a time. Let the family of the killer's victim hunt him with rifles or something. Or use olde-timey punisHydromaxents... drawn and quartered, the staccato, etc... or perhaps a nice cruel "Pulp Fiction" kind of vicious beating and immolation.

Sky's the limit. I think a show like that could actually BE a reality. They've gotten up to fags kissing on television already, and who woulda thought they'd have that 30 or 40 years ago? I mean come on, it's almost 2004 and the entertainment industry is already running out of things to exploit.

yeah capitol punisHydromaxent ends up costing the state a shitload because they can appeal their cases and get appointed representation so much. hte red tape costs a million times more than just feeding them and keeping them locked up, funny how that works.

i didn't mean to sound like a hard ass, i don't think any kind of drug offender should ever suffer like that or anything. i'm obviously biased to a degree due to experience, although i feel weird for even mentioning it, but at any rate i think few things should be punishable by death. some people are beyond redemption in my opinion though, and can only cause suffering for others by their very nature. those are fine for death, instant or prolonged . . .
