I was watching porno one day and saw the behind the scenes part where a female adult entertainment star was taking a shower and started to shave. The cameraman started asking her what she uses to shave and she told him. She also told him that quite a few male and female pornstars use the same thing because it provides a very close smooth shave with almost no irritation. It will leave your skin smooth, irritation free, and will actually combat ingrown hairs if you have that issue when you shave. Ive tried it myself and I was shocked that the best thing for shaving was sitting in my face the whole time. She told the cameraman that she uses HAIR CONDITONER to shave, so I grabbed my bottle of SUAVE HAIR CONDITOINER and my razor and got started. First thing you have to get used to is the fact that there is no foam and you will need to dampen the area you are shaving alittle. Rub on enough hair conditioner to create a slick surface and than shave. You will be amazed how great of a shave you will get and how smooth and healthy your skins going to be afterwards. Dampening the skin is just something I do. Im not sure if it serves a purpose, but I like to believe it does lol...As far as a brand, I use SUAVE HAIR CONDITIONER, but I believe you can use any brand as long as you have used it before. The best part is that you will smell great and your skin will be well moisturized.

When I shave my face I always use warm water before my shaving cream, that's why I was asking, and Ill give this a try when I need to shave next, thanks for the tip!

My understanding is shampoo cleans the scalp, and conditioner is for actual hair health, as it keeps it from drying out and becoming brittle. Not to step on any toes but I dont believe the anti-dandruff conditioner is necessary. I use plain ole Suave Naturals Refreshing Waterfall Mist Conditioner and it works.just fine. Anti-dandruff conditioners tend to be alittle pricey while you cane get what I use for less than $2. When I give tips or advice I always try to find the poor mans way or the cheapest way of getting the best results possible. I dont believe anything has to be expensive to be effective. Plus the other chemicals in those anti-dandruff conditioners might have other effects on you other than just a good shave.
I haven't used hair conditioners myself for shaving. At least I don't recall doing so. If I wet shave, I usually use some bar soap with moisturising ingredients. Skip the foam stuff from the can, that's what I can say. Loaded with so much unnecessary stuff and it's expensive in one sense as well.
Some days I might just use a safety razor for some maintenance. Some days I use moisturising bar soap. Use the least pressure on the blade you can. My down under shaving tools vary from Mach 3 to old Gillette Slim Twist.
The hair conditioner tip is a working one, I'm not taking any credit out from that! If you really want to go overboard and why not, you could always get some shaving soap and a nice brush. Works on my face pretty damn nice!

I tried this with hair conditioner use warm water then rub i the conditioner and shave a great shave just as KingD stated thanks for the helpful tip!
Thats great to hear GIRTHGAINS. Im glad to see my tips are being used and are helping members. I used the hair conditioner to shave a week ago which would have given me a couple hair bumps or ingrown hairs by now, but I still have nothing but a smooth shave. Keep us posted on your progress.
Ive been doing this for years in the shower and I've always gotten amazing results. Literally smoothest shave ever, every time. Except afterwards I'll apply some vaseline or vitamin E oil to help keep the skin moisturized and healthy. It works really well and I can shave about once a week.
No problem, I actually looked it up on some female forums haha. I like my junk to be smooth for the gf. I shave everything down there, including my asshole. I just think its a courtesy to my gf when we 69 that she doesn't have a face full of ass hair haha.

I did another shave today gotta say awesome shave I had got a few bumps a few days after the first shave probably from shaving upwards. I fine if you just shave downwards with a great razor makes a better shave no upward shaves lol
Against the grain is always the hardest. One could do three pass shave, first with the grain, then across and finally against for that baby butt smoothness.

Hey SIMPLEJACK I never knew vaseline could prevent ingrown hair bumps after a shave. That might also explain why my shaves are so smooth and bump free because I use baby oil gel with cocoa butter to pump and edge with. It keeps my skin smooth and supple. If I want a real dry smooth shaving area I add baby powder prevent chaffing of excessive residue buildup.
KingD, it always seems to work well for me. I even shave against the grain too. First I shave down, then side to side, then up and it gets it baby smooth. Then after I'm out of the shower and all dried off I apply vaseline and let it sit overnight. The next couple days I've got amazingly smooth skin down there.
