I recommend getting one of those hand squeeze exercisers....the ones with black handles. Keep it in your car and it gives you something to do at red lights (as well as kegels!). Hand strength definitely increased my grip and intensity. My hands were getting tired when I first started out...

Actually they can be a bit tough to get off. You can release the "normal" zip ties you find in the store with a little trick. But it's better to buy the releasable ones.....I have some on the way to me from Ebay. Read more on them here...
I had similar starting stats as you, and after two months have seen results just a bit under yours. I'm truly hoping these aren't just the "newbie gains" and that it keeps going.
