Drop here your thoughts when a gain measurement doesn't count. 1 per profile.

I'll begin:

The same day you had a good jelq session (fluid buildup)

To me no gain measurement should count until every 3rd month mark is reached so 3rd month, 6th month, 9 month 1 year etc.. but yes usually after a bathmate session for me I don’t count the measurement bc of possible fluid build up.

I'm talking about 'false' measurement. In case of what you did that day or day before can effect the measure

Oh I see, yeah for me bathmate bc even if I have a good session I’m sure slightly some of it is fluid build up

Never measure if you are depressed or having anxiety as the measurement will always be lower than it should.

When you come out of a cold lake, pool etc..
I recall measuring your morning wood isn't also the best thing to do.

If your not lying to yourself you already know a false measurement. After a bathmate or any pumping, hardcore stretching or ulis etc all will lead to a temporary increase. If may make you feel better temporarily but to get results you have to be honest with yourself.

But I get what your saying...Clamping.

After every girth routine you should do a measurement to be sure that you’re getting expansion. This expansion is temporary but this is how you gain girth, the temporary gains become permanent as new temporary gains are made. This is not an official measurement this is a measurement just to make sure you’re doing things the right way. With length You want to measure length every couple weeks your bone pressed, flaccid stretched measurement is what You will be measuring. This measurement should show an increase in line above your erect bone pressed measurement. Again this is a method to check to make sure you’re making gains but it is not an official measurement. Official measurements should come once every 3 to 6 months where you will measure everything and record those measurements against your previous size. So don’t become obsessed with measuring constantly to see if you’re gaining, just measure to be sure you’re seeing progress.

Great post, I agree I think being obsessed with measuring disheartens people. Im aiming for length myself right now. I will take your advice onthe flaccid bone pressed measurement every few weeks to see how gains are.

I remember the day I threw all of my measuring devices out! I was probably three or four years in and I became so obsessed with measuring that I had a huge accident. One night while I was obsessively measuring ruler slipped and sliced off my frenulum. One of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced. It’s kind of funny though, frenulum removal is now a thing LOL. So I sent all of my measuring devices into the garbage and I stop measuring. From that point on I took a measurement maybe once every six months. PE is about gaining not measuring. Measuring is a byproduct of PE.

When do I have permission to post a new “when not to measure?” ?

When NOT to measure...
...when your penis is exposed to prolonged cold temperatures

Measure under the same [optimal] scenarios using the same standards each time for consistency. If you're outside of these parameters you should forgo measuring until you can effectively duplicate your last measuring environment.

Truth! Following strict measurement standards are so important to understanding if you are gaining or not. Measuring against soft tissue will be an inconsistent measurement. It is vital that you measure from the bone as the bone will never move, giving you an accurate measurement.

You should avoid the ruler as long as possible. If you are a newbie to PE, you can measure once in 3 months but if you are a veteran, you should measure once in 6 months.
