I don’t understand what you mean my brother can you rephrase it?

You need to wrap your head mate, if you don't your head will blood blister and you wont be able to hang for months, hopefully this messages reach you before it happens! I blood blister 4 times with vac hanger in less than a year because I made stupid mistakes!

Prevention is so important and I’m so happy that you have advised our brother in the proper way. Another good suggestion is before you clamp down to be sure you squeeze all of the blood out of your head, this will help prevent blisters also.

Didn't know about squeezing blood out of head, Thanks!

Have you tried using a silicap? I use a silicap every time I hang or stretch with my silistretcher, and have never had an issue with blisters. It's also really comfortable.

Does anyone know if blisters are a function of the vacuum or the hanging? In other words, if one were to hang for extended sessions with no vacuum, would that prevent blisters from developing?

I’ve hanged with my silistretcher at 7.5 pounds and a silicap for 30 min sessions with no blisters and I am very new to hanging make sure blood is out of the head and you wear a silicap you may need to tweak a little if you are more sensitive then others

It actually seems like I might be a lot less sensitive than others. I've been hanging for many hours a day (much more than most people here have recommended) and haven't developed any blisters yet. I'm wondering if that's because I'm not using vacuum or if my bad habits simply haven't caught up with me yet. If blisters are an inevitable side effect of too much time spent hanging, I'd rather back off now. But if hanging without vacuum solves the problem, I'll keep doing what I'm doing.

Getting all that blood out of the head is so important and the main reason most people get blisters is because they do not do this.
