So guys just some thoughts on wrapping technique for hangers. I do appreciate and salute all the hanging veterans out there that have laid out the 'tried and true' or 'standard' wrapping technique and have educated the rest of us. I must say it's a good foundation to build upon for just about any hanger.
I have a few personal observations though; First, before wrapping (with HTW), as a cut guy, I like to pull all the extra skin forward (instead of back) while stretching the penis at the same time, then wrap 0.25" below the glans, etc,. I find that the hanger grasps the internals precisely. Also, that extra skin helps shield the ridge and glans from being hurt by the hanger which is a plus. I have tried the standard way of restricting skin from falling forward a.k.a 'perfect wrapping technique' and I find that it leads to nothing but attachment point pain and there's no actual internal stretching going on there.
Second, on the forums I've seen some of the advice given on wrapping and honestly, there's such an obsession with 'protecting the penis' which I found to be unhelpful in effective stretching. Any form of 'extra protection' i.e,. more than two passes of a wrap will just interfere with the hanger gripping the internals which is counterproductive. Also, different combinations of wrap might be unnecessary especially if they add some sort of bulk. I believe the hanger should condition his soft tissues to be as close to the hanger as possible. And yes, I mean that. As long as there's no skin wrinkling under the wrap and there's one or two layers between the penis and the hanger, you should be just fine. I know most hangers aren't padded enough but bulking up the wrap in an effort to protect yourself only makes things worse. I find that the extra bulk cuts off circulation completely producing alot of unnecessary pressure - further increasing attachment point pain. On the other hand though, a slim/ thin wrap works perfectly. I believe that as long as the hanger isn't so close to the head, you should be just fine. Lastly, a slim wrap, eliminates the likelihood of slippage wonderfully. Why? Because the internals have been grasped properly. Some people may see this as hardcore and not for beginners but, for me, it's not hardcore at all and I wish I started off like this one year ago because it actually lessens discomfort and we can finally focus on pure stretching rather than over thinking things and getting obsessed with precautionary measures to not get 'hurt'.
Guys I'm not against any tried and true methods but these are only my thoughts and can be challenged. I would like to hear what you guys think.
