In the UK we used call Baseball, rounders, we played with something similar to the sticks they use in the USA. For me there is only one game that sends goose pimples through my system, and that's Cricket. What a delight it is to England wipe the shit out of the Aussis or clean up against India.

Yes sir, Cricket is better than Hockey, Baseball or Basket ball. In fact Cricket is as good as English Football, you blokes call it soccer.

I work with a guy from Jamacia and he is always talking about how he used to play cricket, and how much he loved it! He was also a big soccer fan too! Since he came to america he has fallen in love with baseball and football!

This could be the Astros year! They have never in there 43 years made it this far!!! Plus they have givin the Cards a real hard time this year!

The Astros pitching is a little tired after 6 with the Braves. Hoping adrenaline will pull them through. I believe the record this year for Cards-Astros is 8-10
, so it is definitely possible.

Cardinals have a potent team, and they look to take the NL. Yankees will probably out endure the Sox (They still dont have the lineup or bullpen). Cardinals and Yanks would be a tough call. Unfortunately I pick the yankees as the logical winners of the post season (sigh). Secretly im rooting for the blue jays to go all the way.

Oh man you guys should have seen the party in Boston that night. It was INSANE!! You may have seen it on the news, but you have no idea what it was like for real.

But the cops had to come in and kill people. I understand them having to do their job and keep the peace, but they WAY overreacted. I nearly got arrested for doing exactly what the cops told me to do. They were way too quick to use force, and rubber bullets were especially unnecessary. I saw too many people get beat by police bats that night, and too much tear gas, and too many people getting shot by rubber bullets.

Hopefully the police will learn that it doesn't take death to calm a crowd. Maybe when the Sox win the Series (yes, that's when ) they'll be a bit more civil about it.

Don't get killed by the cops man watch out! Fuckin boring series, execpt for the first game. Damn the Cards looked like shit the last 3 games. We just choked up. Now the RaMS next game is against the Patroits, fuck, will lose that too real bad!

I agree. The first game was the only interesting one.

Fucking cops man. They were doing a great job (at least in my part of town). Just controlling traffic. Nobody was going super berserk because we knew there were so many cops around. Then all of a sudden, literally out of nowhere as the crowd was actually getting calmer, a few asshole cops come running down the street beating everyone that didn't get out of their way with bats. One dickhead ran at me and my 2 friends, who were just standing on an empty corner and started screaming "I bet you don't fuckin live on this corner! I got a fuckin bat get the fuck outta my way!!" He then ran into my friend (a 5' 0'' tiny girl) and said "Why the fuck are you hitting me?" and started swinging his bat at her. Luckily she got out of the way quick enough. Fucking cops. They were loners in high school, and now they're on a power trip because they have a gun, a bat, and "authority." What bullshit. Too many people are out there right now getting the shit beat out of them by a couple of power-crazed cops. I could understand using force if the crowd was getting violent, but when the crowd is dying out, to just get crazed and start beating people who are just standing there away from everyone is inexcusable. I hope they lose their jobs.

I'm so glad Boston won! I am glad to see that dam curse lifted and on a lunar eclipse!!! The only team in MLB history to play a World Series and win one during a lunar eclipse.
