Hey all,
The SiliScale is a MUST for shedding light on what we're actually doing when we use the SiliStretcher. Like so many things, successfully controlling for tension or not is likely a big difference between someone who gets great results and someone who gets none!
The first thing I wanted to peek at when I got my scale was how well I was maintaining the correct level of tension when I used the stretcher, and I've noticed that it can go either way. Some days, I check at the end of the session and the tension hasn't changed much. Other days it's all over! Today, for instance, I checked my tension less than an hour in, and I'd already lost 2/3lb of tension. (Starting at 3lbs, that's a 20% loss!) I reset the tension, and checked again at the end of my session to find that I'd lost a full pound of tension.
I use the velcro belt and wrap around my waist. I can think of the following reasons why tension would be lost:
1) The penis is 'relaxing' into the stretch, and actually lengthening during the session in response to the tension, so that being pulled the same distance actually means less tension in the penis.
2) The belt and/or strap are shifting or stretching under the tension.
Questions:
-Would the first issue even be a problem, since it means the penis is lengthening? If not, would it still be best to adjust after it lengthens to get back to the original tension?
-Has anybody noticed the second issue? Are there best practices to avoid that?
I noticed that the Phallosan uses a slightly different system, where the strap and belt are one and the same. Rather than attaching by velcro to a strap around the body held in place by friction, it actually anchors to the immovable penis with a plastic or rubber ring. That way there is no way it can shift under the tension. If the second issue is occurring for others as well, this might be something to include as an option for a SS3.0.
Let me know what you guys think!
