We actually attempted many mods ourselves between brother SIM and I. You simply wasting money. Go straight to get the 1.5mm bottles with barb fittings OR 1/4in quick release fittings already exist on the market. Let us know if you need the pictures for your search.

For brothers that have both the 1 liter and 2 liters size, 2 liters tend to be much larger, but great for lazy people like me who just like to sit at one location to take care of my pumping instead of moving back and forth to the sinks and bath tub. 1 liter size is more than enough.
