I'm going to go on the Velocity diet for 28 days. I'm going to use this thread to chart progress and daily updates over the next 28 days. It's going to be brutal, but I have four different kinds of protein powder to at least vary the taste a bit. Each one is similar in nature but different falvor, so it won't effect the diet at all.
Workout days: 2000 calories broken up into 7 shakes (one post workout with 46 g carbs). Utilizing falx seed mill in three shakes for fiber intake and good fats, along with fish oils for good fats as well. Before workouts I will be using pharmaceutical grade BCAAs in tablet form as well as a powder to mix in with water as well as using them after the workout as well. I will also use the BCAA to amino load before going to bed.
Non-Workout Days: 1700 calories broken up over 6 shakes utilizing falx seed mill in three shakes for fiber intake and good fats, as well as using the fish oil tabs. I will be using the BCAA to amino load before going to bed.
I'm working out three days a week over the next four weeks. Each workout uses different parameters to utilize different motor units and to hopefully help aid in muscle retention during this hypocaloric diet, and with the protein intake being between 240-300 g hopefully I can add a little bit of muscle.
Overall I have heard of fairly lean men losing 16+ lbs using this plan and getting ripped quickly. As it is known that heavier individuals can lose much more fat without losing muscle mass then I am hoping that I may lose 20+ lbs using this plan.
