Not just for me but for other newbies as well: so to retain gains a silicone ring after PE is advised for at least 1 hour. At the 1 hour mark obtain full expansion again though pumping or an erection. This can be repeated for several hours.
To all newbies, even veterans, this statement is correct. After any PE pumping routine, or girth routines, wear a "restrictive" device, such as a silicone ring, between 40 and 60 minutes after the routine to encourage pliability and continual expansion during healing. Yes, Doc Hink suggests not to in his video, but yet, ended up suggested something else in the latter discussions. We've been using this method for ages because there's a uniqueness to keep the tissue meshes wide open as the cells are being repaired and regenerated within that time period. The longer we can keep the gaps open, the greater the chance of additional growth comes into the picture.
Only with a thight ring that causes full occlusion, the ring should be removed every 5-10 min or so (for 1-2 minutes?) so new blood flow comes in.
But if one uses a ring that does not cut off circulation completely, wearing it for one hour straight (without removing every 5-10 min) and gaining full espansion at the hour mark would be fine for one or more hours?
This is correct. To provide greater clarification, DO NOT wear any ring that fully cuts off the blood flow. This is "constriction". You do not want constriction. You want restriction where the blood still flows in and out to exchange, but slowly rather than quickly. A penis ring or device used for restriction should have about 5 minutes delay. Here's a visual example. When you get a full erection, or at least jelq to the where the penis has a full volume of blood like when you're fully erected, that is where you want at first. You don't have to remain erected. As long as that full volume is in the penis when you use the ring, that's all you need. Allow your penis to relax with that full volume. Now, between the full volume and 5 minutes later, or even 10 minutes later, that full volume should be slowly releasing to around 50% of the volume, or known as full flaccid. Adjust the 10 minutes down to 5 minutes if your penis color is changing color from a hue of pink to a hue of light purple, coldness, numbness, or even strange tingling sensitivity. Purple is an indication of oxygen deficit. Numbness and tingling is nerve kinking. You don't want that.
Gaining back full expansion, in case of partial restriction with a ring, at the hour mark can be done with the ring on or off using a pump or by getting an erection?

Basically through an erection, jelq, or combination of them. If you have time and getting a hard time through erection, then use the pump.
Circulation is not cut off completely if the ring is used right after pumping and the penis will lose some expansion within some minutes...right? No purple penis, coldness etc? If one can take a piss with the ring on, is this a good indicator as well of partial restriction?
Correct. Never color change. Never fully cut of the blood flow.
Additional question: is one method more effective than the other to solidify gains after PE?
No. There is no one method better than the other. Because our bodies are different, although they look similar, there are way too many factors involved. If anyone says, "My method is the best, forget the rest." They are scamming you. Take all methods and test until you find a proper method to use. Most of the times, the methods have to be mixed together to customize to your needs. Just like medications. There is no one medication works for everyone. This is why there are so many formulations for the same symptom relief. This is to cover the variety of factors at play besides the money-making patent scheming.
