I like this thread, but I have one caveat. I believe staying hard in the pump is more important than getting more pressure or trying to tolerate too much pain. I lose my erection if the gator is hurting too much. When it's hurting me, I prefer to go up a size to my other wider
bathmate and use the comfort insert. It's wider so there's still room for expansion. I know everyone is different, but many of us can't handle maximum pressure either, even after like 10 years of having a
bathmate. I have much better results with a bit less pressure, and the comfort insert when needed. Slow and steady wins the race sometimes. And stay hard.
Everything you talk about may be true. You need consistency to gain optimally. You should not have any pain. But in the beginning there will be some discomfort. If you experience pain you have to much vaccum in the pump/
cylinder. By the way, I can't handle maximum vaccum either, in the
HydroXtreme pumps. In the
Hydromax it's possible...to max out the vaccum. Then you can implement the, Vacu Vin mod.
But: I have never been able to use the comfort insert (not even when I started), to much expansion in girth and my penis would get stuck at the end of the pipe of the comfort insert (my penis was short), so this stopped all the expansion for me (both in length and girth).
When I was using the
Bathmate (
Hydromax 5 and then,
HydroXtreme 7 Wide Boy
- Same diameter as HydroXtreme 9);
My penis would after some time expand hard into the rubber creases. If I used the comfort insert, I would not get any substantial expansion at all, not even at length.
I wouldn't have made any gains. Most girth gains I made by maxing out the
Hydromax 5 without the comfort insert.
This is the reason I promote removing the "comfort insert". If you can't handle it, my belief is that
your best solution is to get the MityVac pump. At least for me I want fast gains, and maximum expansion of my tissue.
My belief is also that, if you use the comfort insert, you will mostly work on length. You would reduce the expansion so much in girth, that you would not get the maximum expansion of your tissue. Even if you do not max out the
cylinders diameter when you are starting out, when you remove the comfort insert" you will allow your penis to expand more in girth.
Bathmate are promoting their pumps in a way that emphasise to increase your penis length. So I assume that when you remove the comfort insert, you use the pump for something that it's not designed to do.
Bathmate have only designed the pump to increase your length? I don't know but as more user experiences reviews I get from brothers...the more I believe that the
Bathmate pump is only for increasing your length. When you read the reviews on their website you also get that feeling.
Maybe this is the reason it do not work optimally when you remove the comfort insert (discomfort != pain).
I don't know why this is, I think you change the dynamics of how the vaccum is distrubuted inside the
cylinder/pump. Maybe I'm incorrect? But I based this on my personal experiences of maxing out the
hydromax 5 in girth. If I would have used the comfort insert I would have made no gains.
When your penis slams into the pipe on the comfort insert, your penis would start to expand in length. So that would be lengthwork in the pump.
Just my thought on the
Bathmate pump.
