I managed to lose the little external O-ring on my Size Doctor. Does anyone know what size O-ring I need for a replacement?

I didn't get any likely hits with the forum's search function, but a web search turned it up.
I guess the durometer rating will be "as soft as I can get."

I bought these: "Silicone O-ring 70 durometer 1/8" ID x 1/4" OD x 1/16" thick. Quan 5" from eBay for $2.65. eBay links don't usually last long, but those search terms will let you zero in.
Other vendors had 10 nitrile rings with the same specs for the same price, but I don't remember ever seeing any nitrile on PE equipment, maybe some lubes aren't friendly to it or something. It's getting late and I didn't want to go down that internet rabbit hole.
All the rings I found on eBay were 70 durometer, regardless of material.

The replacement O-rings showed up yesterday. I had been using the #5 gasket before, but after 5 days without using the SD the bell would slip off after a few minutes every time I put it on. I swapped to the #4 gasket, which was only a minor improvement, and then down to the #3. I had to use the vacuum bulb once during a 20-minute session, which was okay. At least I didn't have to go all the way down to the #2 gasket this time.
No problemo, I'd rapidly stepped up in gasket sizes and had only been using the #5 a couple of days before losing the O-ring, so I was expecting to have to start over since I hadn't been at it long enough to cement any gains.
The replacement O-rings worked perfectly; they were even the same color as the one I lost.

I finally dropped all the way back to the #2 gasket, and and I still had to pump the bell every five minutes or so.
I noticed the O-ring wasn't making contact on the bail when pushed all the way down. I bent the wire bail to put more tension on it, and got it to seal enough to only pump once every ten minutes. And I could see that I had a tiny air gap again when the bell slipped off for the fifth or sixth time.
Inside the bell there's a white silicone(?) plug. The end of the valve spindle sits on it. If I push the plug all the way in - as I did last time I cleaned it - the plug pushes the spindle out a fraction of an inch; enough that the O-ring won't seal. The plug has more cowbell than the wire bail does. And though the spindle fits into the hole in the plug, it doesn't fit tightly enough to hold vacuum for long.

The O-ring Lightning recommended is a standard size, and appears to fit properly. That was 1/4 OD, 1/8 ID, 1/16" thick. I wondered if perhaps the O-ring was metric:
1/4" OD (.250") = 6.36mm
1/8" (.125") ID = 3.174mm
1/16" (.062") thick = 1.5875mm
The closest standard size in metric is a bit bigger:
7mm OD = .276"
4mm ID = .157"
2mm thick = .079"
I ordered some 7x4x2 O-rings. It will be a slightly sloppy fit, with an ID .032" larger than the spindle, but I'll see how it works.

Sometimes it would seal, sometimes it wouldn't... I suspect it might have been related to how far I pushed the plug in while reassembling after cleaning it.
I suspect the inch-size O-ring is correct and the problem is the plug being a hair too long, but I'm going to try the thicker O-ring before I modify the plug.

I didn't ask; somewhere in one of the old messages either you or Lightning mentioned MOS only supported devices sold through the forum. Given your discounts and level of customer support, I thought that was reasonable.
I not only got my Size Doctor off eBay, it turned out to be counterfeit. I emailed with manufacturer with the auction link; they said that was very common, and that eBay was unhelpful with dealing with counterfeiters.
I was going to say that we’re the only dealer of the real Sizedoctor. You cannot get it anywhere else or you are getting a cheap knockoff. It looks good, it has all the same markings but when you use it it falls apart. This is why President Trump was working so hard on our intellectual property. The Lengthmaster, Bathmate, SizeDoctor, SiliStretcher and PowerAssist are all being made as knockoffs out of China.

I read some reviews of the Size Doctor, decided it might do what I wanted, went to eBay, searched for "lowest price+shipping", and bought what was claimed to be a real Size Doctor. Missing step: checking to see what they actually cost. Else I would have been suspicious...

Who is "sizedoctor.us"? Their web site didn't give me a warm fuzzy when I went there to get their contact information. Manufacturer or just another scammer?
You might want to put your own ad up on eBay mentioning MOS is the real deal, and that you offer a warranty, which none of the fly-by-night outfits do. Oh, and that it isn't dependent on sluices, diaphragms, caps, or sleeves, so you're not trapped into the "buy expensive expendables regularly" cycle. And it's the only one (that I know of, anyway) that can do glans enlargement following the natural shape of the glans how it meets the shaft, instead of trying to deform it into a cylinder.
I just checked eBay and there were only a couple of sellers, priced not far below you, vs. the pages of sellers when I bought mine last year. You need to stake out your turf. I'm not getting any hits at all on Amazon; I'm pretty sure someone was selling there last year, too.

I wound some thread between the O-ring and the top of the spindle, to fill up some of the gap. If that will keep the seal then I can use it until the metric O-rings come in.
Wish me luck. If the metric O-rings don't work, that means my knock-off SD uses some weird-Harold unobtainium part. And you *will* lose the outer O-ring eventually, hooking a fingernail under it to remove the bell. There's not a whole lot holding the ring on, and you can flick it right off the spindle if you're clumsy with it.

too much work chasing these scammers down. People should understand that if something seems too good to be true than it probably is. We are an official Bathmate dealer and our pricing is static, there are no discounts the price is what it is and if someone is selling for less it is a fake. Thus goes for the SizeDoctor and every other piece of expensive equipment. Aside from Bathmate We make EVERYTHING ourselves!

I've tried both inch and metric O-rings. The metrics fit a bit better, but if the little white button inside the bell is pushed all the way in, I can still see light between the ring and the bell. I've tried pulling the white plug out a bit, which works sometimes... other times, the bell just slides off after four or five minutes.
I was griping to my wife about the hassle, and she offered to buy me a real one from MOS. So I placed the order this afternoon.

The MOS Size Doctor showed up yesterday. My wife is the Official Unboxer, so she opened it, inventoried everything, and said she was impressed.
Yes, the O-ring is a weird size.
The MOS SD I received had the spring mod on the valve spindle, that one of the MOS members came up with a while back. And the other MOS "value added" bits - sleeves, cap, a set of cock rings, and a nice carry case. I only got the basic model, not the "game changer" fancy one. But still no instructions, not even in Chinese...
I had thought my old one was a counterfeit, but putting all the bits side by side, they're exactly the same, every mold seam and machined bit. So I'm figuring the old one is a "gray market" import. Some people have reported only getting three gaskets with some eBay purchases, instead of the usual six. And a couple of weeks ago, the eBay ones were selling for $50-$100 *more* than MOS is charging. Sometimes they're cheaper than MOS... but if you lose or break something, you're screwed.
I've already put several hours in; fortunately I didn't lose any noticeable amount of conditioning while ordering different sets of O-rings trying to fix the gray market one.
