Question from: nobodyuno about ordering sleeves

I'm needing help with getting the correct size of Silisleev. I'm looking at the Silisleev2. On the product page, under Sizing, it states: "If your stretched flaccid girth circumference is 4" or Under, order the 3/4" (19mm) diameter SIliSleev. If your stretched flaccid girth circumference is 4" or Over, order the 1" (25mm) diameter SiliSleev."

However, when you go to select the product to purchase, they have sizes of 3/4", 7/8", and 1". How do I know which one to purchase between the 7/8" and 1"?

Thanks in Advance!

He did post in the wrong forum, and never reposted it. So I will help putting this question out there in the correct section.

Most brothers here will ask, "What's the purpose being used for the SiliSleeve2?" This matters quite a bit.

If you're using the sleeves for all day stretchers and traction devices, you definitely need a smaller diameter to the sleeve tightness can hold onto your skin to prevent sliding. Let's use the 4in flaccid penis as an example. Remember that you should be measuring the flaccid girth between the base of the glans and 2in below the base of the glans. This is where most of the traction for the sleeve to work in prevent sliding because of the foreskin or the penile shaft skin.

When you're flaccid, it doesn't mean there's an absent of blood volume in the penis. This is partially expanded penis. When the penis is relaxed further, you'll lose that extra flaccid volume. Under compression of the sleeve, it may reduce down to 2.75in instead. When the penis is a cold environement, it will shrink even further. So, how will you test the true state of flaccid? Squeeze the penis as hard as you can and drain as much blood out of it as you can. The smallest circumference you get from the squeezing is your true flaccid circumference.

If you're using the sleeve for anti-turtling, you can use the SiliSleeve2, but you can use a looser size. This allows you to urinate with comforts, while preventing the penis from turtling. You will need a piece of stabilizing wrap, like the TheraBand, you prevent the foreskin from causing that retraction. I wear the SiliSleeve2 from time to time to prevent turtling, but I need the TheraBand to stop the foreskin from causing the retraction inside the loose sleeve.

Hope that helps.

Thanks! Sorry, @squirt_inducer_man . I don't have a lot of experience with forums and couldn't tell if you had moved it or where you were telling me to move it.

@oldandlively All day anti-turtling is the primary intent. Having the passive stretch to optimize gains would be nice too.

I think I follow. I'm new to all of this. I have experience in the past with foreskin restoration, which I picked back up a few months ago with a job change that is allowing me to use weights for 6-8 hours per day.

When measuring with the smallest possible diameter I think I could reach, and squeezing the measuring tape tight, I was around 3.5in.

So, I'm not sure where that falls on the 3 different diameter sizes.

Got it. It's for anti-turtling. Actually, I'm wearing the SiliSleeve2 now, with the wrap on top of. I use the 6in SiliSleeve2, but it's falling about 1.5in shy of "passive" stretch that you're looking for. I have the sleeve flushed to the very bottom of the penile base, use the Ace cotton wrapping and lightly wrap it up all the way to the top to make up for the lack of 1.5in. Work pretty well in protecting my glans from exposure during the sleeve wearing since the sleeve does expose half of my glans when I passively stretch it to 7.5in long. That's 1in longer than erected state at the moment.

I know where you're coming from my brother. Very good insight on your part about passive stretching rather than active stretching. Our brother @squirt_inducer_man wrapped as all day as well for the passive stretching on top of anti-turtling. I wear my ADS as well, but as it gets hotter, wearing the ADS and straps can get pretty intense. The sleeve and wrap help with tissue warming all day, stimulating the tissue to heal faster in the elongated and passively stretched state.

When measuring with the smallest possible diameter I think I could reach, and squeezing the measuring tape tight, I was around 3.5in.
If you are reaching 3.5in in the smallest flaccid state, a 1in diameter SiliSleeve2 is a great start. Remember, you're not trying to create traction, but you're trying to keep it elongated through lightly tighten the entire penile shaft. If you're actively forcing the elongation, the DuroSleeve is your ticket. Passively, SiliSleeve2 is better for both comforts and partial stretching. The tighten Ace cotton wraps help to push it from passive to active.

Hope this helps you understand a bit better.
