Question for DLD

Hey DLD. I don't mean to put you on the spot, but using the search feature for other things, I have found several posts from you indicating a real fear of clamping. I have cautiously clamped for quite a while without an issue, but as you are the Master, I am very curious as to the reasons that keep you from clamping.
