Question about overtraining.

Measuring my bpfsl with light warm up at 210mm. =8.2 inch
I am doing this routine.
1. Bundle stretches 90 sec each - 2 sets twisting to the left 180 degrees , 2 sets twisting to the right 180 degrees, 2 sets twisting to the left 270 degrees, 2 sets twisting to the right 270 degrees

Then I measure my bpfsl at 215 mm= 8.4 inch

Then I will do
Basic stretches - 2 sets straight out 90 sec each, 1 set straight up 90 sec, 1 set straight down 90 sec, 90 sec to the left, 90 sec to the right.

3. Rotary stretches 30-40 circles

Then I measure again and my bpfsl is 210mm! =8.2 inch
Before the basic stretches and after the tunica stretches it was bigger ! So should I stop doing the basic stretches and stay just with my first part or I should continue with my full routine?
(I was really feeling every stretch and I was pulling medium-hard)
 
My advice is to put the ruler away, and focus on the work. Measurements will fluctuate, and only serve to discourage.

I agree a ruler can end up being a huge factor in OCD and other concentration scenarios. You should only be looking at that ruler once every 90 days.
 
The last time I measured was in 2020. Till this day, I've taken a measurement. I know how sad it made me felt when I was measuring too often.

Too often will kill inspiration
