Poverty Rises as Income Level Falls

This new article highlights new information just surveyed and analysed. Among this information, according to the IRS, the inflation-adjusted income of Americans fell by 9.2 percent from their peak in 2000. Presently, net-income is barley keeping up with inflation. Barely.

Bush is also the first president since Herbert Hoover to provide over a net loss of jobs. He's also the first president since World War II to preside over two straight years of declining incomes. While most Americans' incomes have gone down under Mr. Bush, CEO raises have doubled and their pay is up over 22 percent.

I'm not an American, but I just don't like how bush or any republican for that matter handles Jobs and the economy. Big Business first, under the impression that if High income earners get more money they will in turn create more jobs, which is a false presumption repeatedly proven throughout history(Screw the middle/low class, I want a bigger boat). The rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer. < <

Being a small business owner in the good ol' US, I wholeheartedly agree. My customers are so much tighter with their money now. I am not hurting, but I have had to cut costs myself to adjust to the decline in my customer's spending. I will be glad to see Bush out of the White House.

I dont mean to sound partisan, even though i dislike Bush, but I truly feel that Bush dosnt really care. Not really in a personal way. We are just numbers and votes.

But I cant claim Kerry truly cares, but I do believe him when he says he does.

I also just heard on the news that the White House asked Pakistan and wanted high value targets to be captured and aired during the Democratic Nat. Convention.

Well "ask and you shall receive" because thats exactley what happened.
