This article sums it up good. Modern America does'nt believe it has to sacrifice for war anymore, especially these days. We complain about high gas prices mostly because we feel we have no involvement with the war. Many have accused Dems as being anti-war or anti-Bush or whatever. I've never heard such nonsense. The reality is, some of us don't feel that its appropriate for those who are unwilling to go to war themselves to strongly support it. Those who are not willing to give any small amount compared to what they ask of our young men and women and yet they vote and cry the loudest to place them in harm's way. This is a selfish attitude, and it's not how Americans used to be.
