i figured someone will start a thread just to state the news...so i figured why not...over there years i have learned that the two most heated discussions are politics and religion so i'm careful of what i say on both subjects... because i know how passionate some are on the subjects and nothing ever really seems to come from it but arguments and hurt feelings...but i just wanted to say that if you agree with the nomination or not...it is time for a new regime..i think it is a good thing...we have been dealing with the same old agenda for the past 8 years and it led us to where we are now...do we really want to go through another four years of the same thing...this country rather the world is in a real bad spot right now...and it's gonna take us awhile to dig ourselves out of the mess we are in...i hope Obama is up for the challenge and he succeed at some of the goals he set...not because I'm proud he is the first African American President...but because as an American I want to get out of this downward spiral that we have been in.
