Non milk protein shake?

Hi guys, I was hoping maybe you could help me. Do you know of any protein shakes that are not based on milk protein?
 
There are several that are soy or egg based but they wont have the quantity of protien that you will find in most milk based protein supps. There is an awesome supp called Isopure that is as non milk as you can get ....it's stripped down to just the pure protein isolates. 50 grams of protien in a serving if I recall correctly, and you can mix it with water, juice, whatever. I took the stuff when I was working out a lot more. I have a milk allergy that makes me break out (acne) on my face and scalp if I even look in the same direction of anything made from milk. I had ZERO issues with that while taking the Isopure though.

Most health food stores, and I know for SURE GNC carry Isopure.
 
Thanks still...so pure protein isolates could be derived from cows, humans or whatever? I know it's from the cow but my body will not be able to tell weather it's from a cow or eg. a human?

I'm not in the US so I can't get the isopure.
 
Actually they don't ship to Europe, but yeah I know I can probably buy isopure online. I'll just see if I can find something similar in Denmark before doing so.

Does anyone have an answer to the question in my previous post?
 
I curious why you're looking for protein that's not based on milk products?? Whey and Casein are excellent sources of protein that's very affordable. If it because you're lactose intolerant they buying higher quality protein will have less than 1% lactose that you shouldn't have any problems with them.

Have you look into egg protein??
 
Milk gives me a stuffy nose, I don't know if it's the lactose or the milk protein. I have just read that cow's milk contain hormones, lactoferrin, immunoglobins that can irritate the human immune system, so I wanted to avoid milk based protein. I'm wondering if this is the case with protein isolates.

I looked into egg protein, it just seems a little expensive...

I guess I will have to buy some quality whey and see if it's ok for me.

Whey and Casein the two most common protein supplements are derived from dairy products. Whey has little lactose in it, but casein has a lot. Egg protein is basically protein taken from powdered egg whites, and Soy, while high in protein and fiber, promotes estrogen production.
