You can watch the DVD, .img file in VLC player but it's not optimal since the DVD can't be read properly.There is a line when you want to go deeper into the menu system, that line under the text is gone when you watch the DVD with VLC player. So you need to push this "invisible line" to navigate deeper into the menu on the DVD. But it will work.
