Well guys Im 18, and basically Im a beer guy. But i used to drink Everclear(which ill never do again, nastiest shit ever had), bacardi 151, 99 bananas, vodka, scotch, and shit. But my brother is turning 21, and hes kinda of likes the "tastey drinks". So i wanted to get him malibu or captin morgans (whichever u guys think is better aka. which one is cheaper) and another bottle that is the best tasting hard liqour you guys can think of. Usually i just buy beer so my info on hardliqour aint to good. So if any one can suggest the best tasteing hardliqour they can think of id appreciate it thanks

Unless you live somewhere overseas...how are you buying the liquor legally? Or, are you having a third party buy the stuff 'for your brother'?

Anyway, the best tasting 'hard liquor" that I have had so far is 100 proof Southern Comfort. It's a bourbon whiskey, kind of like Jack Daniels but with a MUCH better flavor. It usually costs a little less than Jack too.

K i have a question for you America folk.... Light beer in canada is 4.5% alc., usually 5-6...then you have the greasy 40's of malt that go all the way to 11%---(my fave when i was 14 )

Now i remember going to the states skiing and noticed someone drinking bud light and i think it was 2%....

So is beer cheaper in the states???. since you have to drink more to get drunken...

I really like Capt'n Morgnans. The spiced rum has a somewhat caramelly flavor, and it goes really well in Coke. Also, they have Parrot Bay vanilla rum. It's good too, and I have found if you mix a little Parrot Bay with Morgan's spiced rum, it seems to have more potency. I've tried the off-brand/cheaper spiced rum, but I have to Morga's is noticably better (to me). I think everbody hs their own taste for liquors.

Is beer cheaper? nah. and not all beer is that low in alcohol content. bud light actually isn't even that low, its not 2% its like 4% or something. If you want to drink cheap like I do though, like you said you can get some 40's of malt liquor. rofl The ones I drink are usually Steel Reserve, and St. Ides.

I dunno man, nothin tastes better to me than a nice glass of Grey Goose vodka, but if he likes fruity type shit, check out Hypnotiq or somethin like that. If you mix Hypnotiq and Hennessey its called Incredible Hulk cuz it turns green.

As for the beer being cheaper in america i dont think thats true, except if you get like a 30 of miluwakee's best that shits like 9 bucks for a 30 but has 5.9 or 5.0 percent alcohol or u could just go for Natty ice which i dont really mind, but i fucking hate light beer shits horrible. O and yea he likes the fruity drinks so if anyone has any ideas id appreciate it thanks

Mix hypnotiq and hennessy and he should be good. That will fuck u up. I've mixed hypnotiq and vodka which turns out pretty good, but itll basically come down to his taste. BUT DONT DRINK HYPNO STRAIGHT. Its too weak to get you fucked up by itself. The content is like 17% i think.

18 is the legal age to get alcohol in aus, i duno why america has it that you can't drink until your 21 but you can get a licence at 16. and i've heard that its not a law that you have to wear your seatbelt in america, is that true?

back to booz, captain morgan is the nastiest shit i've ever drank.

a standard beer in aus is about 5%, and the only exported australian beer is Fosters, and its the worst beer we've got, noone drinks it here.

drinking light beer is against my religion.


and in aus here, the legal limit to buy booz is 18, but kids usually start drinking at 15. in america (or anywhere else with a 21 age limit) do kids usually start drinking later like 17-18. or is it just everywhere that when a kid hits puberty he wants to get drunk.

haha i started drinkin a lil when i was 16 and got my license at 16 too. I dont drink much but I tried Grey Goose Vodka and I liked it. alot. so im goin with razednegative.

I started drinking when I was 13 or 14 we would get those $5 40's of Colt 45 and the other nastyness.

Once I hit 18 and was legal I slowly stopped drinking because now it was legal and it wasn't as rebelleous and risky.

IMO if you really want to have a war on drugs or something you should legalize it and watch the usage drop like a fly. But then again that is a 300 billion dollar a year (Wholesale, not including leg work) to the gov't so that will never happen.
