My Latest Measurement...I Am Confused

Hi Sizers,

On April 30, 2019, I measured my length (BPEL) at 17.7 cm (even if I'm American I prefer the millimeter system due to its simplicity).

I was looking up 17.7 cm and I found that the centimeter to inch conversion is: 6 31/32 inches.

However...Now check this out...I placed in a search engine 17.7 cm penis and I received confusing measurement results from articles.

One article stated this:

Out of all the countries, Austria had the highest perceived ideal penis length. They thought the ideal would be 17.6 cm (6.9 inches) long.

Then another article stated this:

By contrast, most condoms sold in the United States average 7 inches (17.7 cm) long, are a few inches bigger than the average penis and come in just a few standardized sizes.

Another:

The top four countries, according to the data (which to be honest wasn't exactly obtained in the most scientific way) are:
  1. Congo (17.9 cm)
  2. Ecuador 6.9 (17.7 cm)
I am thoroughly confused now...Am I 6.9 inches or 7 inches???

P.S. Moar Confusions!(angry)

Here are moar unrelated articles yet uses the same confusing measuring logic with 17.7 cm:

In fact, the depth of the vagina (from the opening to the tip of the cervix) can measure anywhere up to 7 inches (17.7 cm).

Five cm and 10.5 cm (3¼-four inches approx)when erect, the everyday penis length is between 12.7 cm and 17.7 cm (five-7 inches approx) when erect, the regular girth of an adult penis is among eleven.

Nothing to be confused over or even to read into. We can get caught in this obsessive trap of measurements and it something I suggest you avoid. Take your measurements put them in your progress log and keep things consistent with the brotherhood.

That difference between 6.9 and 7 inches is insignificant to a woman. Thats why.
It is only significant for us to quantify the slightest sign of growth.

Its like measuring a bicep 18.7 inches or 19 inches. To the eye of the person looking at that dude posing, both biceps will look exactly the same size.

Truth!

It is weird. In my book, the article is wrong. 1 inch is 2.5 cm. So 17.7 cm is 7 inches (or 7.08 if it matters...)

17.5 cm is exactly 7"

1 inch = 2,54 cm or 25,4mm ... Numbers are confusing, to me anyway. :( I do greatly understand why someone prefers the cm and mm, than to use inches and inch and a 1/2 or something like that. Having watched some luthier videos where they use inches, I am so baffled of certain measurements, especially very exact measurements. (Just thinking of precision and stuff.)
And then again there's the thing of rounding up of numbers.

Feel big and strong. That's what you are!

your book is rounding to the tenth
1 cm = 0.3937 inch
2.54 cm = 1 inch

If you use THOUSANDS it's a much more accurate conversion
17.78 cm = 7 in

ONLY 3-COUNTRIES in the world use INCHES; I wish the US would use metric

Excessive measuring is the culprit here. I always tell people to avoid the ruler for as long as 6 months. Just train with an intense routine and also, change the routine once in 3 months of some times once in 6 weeks. Flee from the ruler. The last time I measured was in 2020.

You are incorrect. It's important to not round off, the conversion ratio number when you convert, so you don't get conversion ERRORS in your results.

1in × 2.54cm/in
= 2.54cm

Source: Inches to CM Converter
How to convert inches to centimeters
1 inch is equal to 2.54 centimeters:

1″ = 2.54cm

The distance d in centimeters (cm) is equal to the distance d in inches (″) times 2.54:

d(cm) = d(inch) × 2.54

Example
Convert 20 inches to centimeters:

d(cm) = 20″ × 2.54 = 50.8cm

How many inches in a centimeter
One centimeter is equal to 0.3937 inches:

1cm = 1cm / 2.54cm/in = 0.3937in

You can also convert the other way around:
1cm / 2.54cm/in
= 0.3937007874in

Here it's more important to not round off: 0.3837007874 Inch, before conversion.

Source: CM to Inches (cm to in) Converter
How to convert centimeters to inches
1 centimeter is equal to 0.3937007874 inches:

1cm = (1/2.54)″ = 0.3937007874″

The distance d in inches (″) is equal to the distance d in centimeters (cm) divided by 2.54:

d(″) = d(cm) / 2.54

Example
Convert 20 cm to inches:

d(″) = 20cm / 2.54 = 7.874″

You can round it off when you have the result, but not beforehand.

17.5 cm = 6.88976378 Inch ~ 6.89 Inch ~ 6.9 Inch.
But I don't think it's accurate to say that: 17.5 cm are equal to exactly 7 Inches. You measure with 1 decimal point, so your conversion result should have 1 decimal point as well.

Otherwise you could say that 17.5 cm = 18 cm, which isn't true. It's big difference. To not lie to yourself, you should follow my advice for conversion between Inch and centimeters. If you want a bigger value you should make your penis longer instead.

7 Inch = 17.78 cm
17.5 cm is exactly 7"

Excellent! I can never convert but this teaches me how. Thanks!

You're absolutely right to prefer metric—way more consistent.

To clear up the confusion:
  • 17.7 cm = 6.9685 inches, which is just a hair under 7 inches.
  • 6 31/32 inches is the closest accurate fractional inch conversion.
So technically, you’re just shy of 7 inches, but most articles round for simplicity. That’s why some sources say 6.9 inches (rounding down), others say 7 inches (rounding up), and some just convert loosely.

Also, don’t sweat article inconsistencies—many of them generalize or use slightly off conversions. Based on your precise measurement, you're essentially right at 7 inches, especially by typical standards.

I normally don't use inches because of the larger discrepancies to the measurement. But to provide sufficient comprehension to all parts of the world, we have to use both metric and imperial values. A pain, but it's a must. I prefer smaller measurement units to get closer the precise values. CM and MM is easier to deal with than IN.

Of course! Inches do leave a bit of confusion because how big they were and it took forever to manage inches. When you measure in cm or mm you see the micro gains you have made in a timely matter. I wish I practiced cm and mm it would have sparked so much more excitement into my routine.
