For those who use the MityVac trigger pump, make sure to take care not to introduce water into the trigger pump by using the water trap. The 4oz water trap may be too small, so there are 1 liter and 2 liters size water trap for purchases on flagship websites, such as Amazon, eBay, and soon to be on MOS Shop.
If there water intruded through the line by accident, or you just need to break it down for servicing as you should be doing every now and then (monthly or every other months, and even more if you expose it to water constantly), it's quite simple. Attached are two schematic manual for the trigger pumps. The designs are essentially the same, while the model improved on the pressure cylinder sizes.
