I think they sent me a broken product

Worked great for the first week then I kept losing suction quickly after a few minutes. The I lost suction immediately when I took off the bulb. I ordered the hose thinking it was the valve and it still does the same fucking thing. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Once again, I will get suction with the bulb but right when I turn it to lock in the suction it immediately loses all suction. I shouldn't have to pay another $100 to replace the gland chamber when they sent me a dysfunctional product.
