how much excersising?

I recently bought one of these

I dont really have the option to use water based one.
With this unit i can set kpa, how long i want the unit to keep the kpa then release, and repeat.
The timer is now set to 20 mins with 5 mins each then releasing and repeating.

How long should i really set it for, and how many times should i do it per day/week?

This looks like a device more for EQ, and if that is what you want, great! In general 15 min is recommended with 20 min MAX a day , 5 times a week max. But if you are doing it for EQ, then 2 or 3 times a week is fine.

As brother @bemorethanbig stated, the pump is more on the erection quality training than expansion. The pump motor is barely enough to go past 5inHg, which is a tiny bit over the normal erection quality standard between 3.5 to 4.5inHg. if you are using this for expansion to grow girth, it will be a very, very, very long time when you can see any sizeable increase.

It doesn't matter what pump you use, if the pressure cannot achieve a progressive pressure towards 10inHg, it will be useless for the future days ahead.

Since it states to use 20 minutes a day, I believe that will be the max time limit you can use before seeing fluid retention. Why not use it in combo in 5x5x3 routine for the next 3 months to see if it does help. 20 minutes pumping time max, and you can adjust the pressure for the pump and slow squash jelq sets according to the time you spent already in PE. If you are a completely newbie, do make sure to ease in slowly. Do not go too high on the pump's pressure. Read the manual at least 3 times and understand it all. The pressure for the unit is not stated in the specs nor a manual available for us to read through. This is already a red flag.

Way too much. By the way, 15-16inHg is considered as unsafe zone, if, and only if it's correctly measured. I don't trust the digital meter from that tiny thing. Others are reporting in the pressure is not correctly measured.

Way too much, for starting out no more than 12hg Max,Max for 1 to 2 years? but recommended 5-10Hg

Damn, seems like I’m the one crazy enough to go up to 15hg, I think I’m able to tolerate that high of a pressure due to the years of pumping with the BM HydroXtreme 9 conditioning my penis to both tolerate and thrive at those higher pressures.

All I know is that my EQ is superb these days, so horny after doing my pumping sessions I actually struggle with not jerking off after it.

To @tzurri welcome to the brotherhood, hope you manage to get some gains with that pump though I will suggest that you save up for the MityVac which is one of the, if not the best pump on the market there is.

Remember it’s a life time guarantee with the whole system, only upgrade/extra cash you’ll have to spend in the future is on a bigger tube.

I ordered mine to Norway though if I remember correct shipment was only about 20$, 60$ seems a bit much though, I’ll admit that. Believe me you won’t regret it as soon as you start using it. Comes in a nifty travel bag too that will protect it if you ever travel with it.
