Help After Opioids

I had to take opiods after a knee injury and they have messed up my hormones made erections difficult caused bad weight gain and other really nasty problems.
Does anyone have any idea how I can get things back to normal and regain my size and function?

I was on them for about 5 months ,was very conservative took one or two pills every night or two.I gained like 60lbs but i just never noticed because my knee left me on the couch for months

it all just kind of snuck up on me when I noticed my balls felt smaller and I was like what the fuck

opioid use has many side effects and after we stop using it we are left with emotions and issues that the medication was suppressing. It could take up to 3 to 6 months for this to completely leave your system bringing your mind back to a normal place where you’re able to produce serotonin on a natural level. Your serotonin is greatly depleted when you are using opiates and when you stop using them you have receptors that have been enlarged that demand more serotonin and if they don’t get it you end up with all of these issues.

I was a heroin addict for many years and I can tell you that after I stopped it took a good year for my mind to get back to a place where everything was straight. Obviously you’re not taking something as strong as that so I would expect you to start feeling better after about 3 to 6 months, but you will feel better.

Have no worries as this too shall pass

I hope you bounce back soon. Though I've never taken opioids, I have suffered extreme addiction that have led to constant "high" seeking. For me, a "high" detox helped me appreciate the "smaller" things in life. I started out by realize that to detox I need to be fine being "bored" and to constantly keep myself busy (gym, ppl, sitting in cafes) and to minimize time being alone.

@DLD Didnt realize you went through such hard times with Heroin. Amazing and inspirational how you managed to bounce back in life, and on top of that build one of the largest PE communities in the world, and a thriving business for yourself. I guess what started as a hobby slowly but surely spiraled into something huge.

I'm admittedly at a low place in life now but trying to move forward. I realize that my goals are, in general , the 3 Bs - Big Dick, Big Wallet, Big Muscles. I've felt stuck so many times over the past year and a half, and I've learned not to compare yourself to others and do what you can do at this point in time.

That’s all you can do is work in the moment. And when you remain in the moment you’re able to use all of your energy to deal with the task at hand. The word momentum basically means working consistently in the moment. So when you’re able to super focus on things in the present you’re able to correct those things so much faster.

For me coming off of heroin it took a long time for me to regulate my feelings and start to understand life without heroin. For the many years since I don’t even remember how it felt. But in the beginning things are very hard because I had to start dealing with issues that I used to shoot up into my arm.

6 years clean myself. The body will slowly bounce back, luckily you were only doing it for 5 months.

It just takes a bit of time for us to forget the good feelings that opiate bring so quickly. Now when there’s pain there is no quick way out of it, we deal with things as they come. Believe me, when anything was going wrong in my past I shot some heroin and everything was better for about five minutes. I needed to learn how to forget that feeling and I need to work on building up myself with positivity when negative consequences arise. In time I was able to feel normal feelings again without the drugs. He’s normal feelings did not feel good at first as I was withdrawing from the drug. These negative feelings will stick around for a little while but we need to push through them and start to live a normal life. I promise you that the negativity will feed and you’ll start to feel good on your own. So I pray for you to find a place of serenity and peace as you bring yourself off of these opiates.

Give your body his own time to readjust. Make sure you have a clean diet, supplement yourself with all essential nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, fatty acids.

Also keep yourself busy because idle hands are the devils workshop. Try to fill your day with positive interactions and activities. You don’t want to think too much as you’re getting better so try to occupy yourself with something positive.

It looks like the opiods have caused opiod induced endocrinopothy which scrambles your hormones and the way you produce testosterone .
I am trying to find a way to get my hormones humming again without taking testosterone I do not want to f up my voice or take that stuff forever.
I also want to get my gains back and lose the weight that poison caused me to gain.Again I really want to say that this site has been a life saver and has made me feel like I can get my body and my life back including my gains .

I am starting to try exercise but my energy levels are so very low I have some dumbells and I have been trying walking but I get so tired.

Try to push through it and get some walking in when you get a chance. Do not rush this process just go through the stages necessary to get yourself into a better place. This whole thing is about time, the longer you’re away from it the less you’ll remember it and the less you remember it the less you’ll desire it.

Getting back into my pe workouts but I find that although my stretched length gains are still with me I have had my ligs tighten so much that a simple bundled blaster is impossible. My stretched length is a bit over 9 but wow even to try a simple bundled blaster is miserable it is playing with my mind!
Can you suggest some length work that can loosen things back up?I wouldnt take an opiod again for a million dollars!

bundled stretches are the thing that will loosen you up the most. I understand that they are difficult but they should be because you’re trying to stretch the tunica which has a density of 95%. So doing bundled work stretches the tunica and once to tunica has been stretched you will add more size. Also once the tunica has been expanded it will never go back to its original size due to to the lack of elasticity.

I am now trying to regain lost length should I just do bundled blasters?
I really want that length back those opiates dropped my healthy t levels down to 246 which is low normal so I am having to fight my way back
My body hair has diminished less pubes leg hair etc this is a bitch but I am still fighting.

It takes a while for opioids to leave the brain. Even after we have been sober for a while we will still feel those feelings for the drug. And as you can see there are physical consequences of using opioids. I’m so happy that you understand this and that you’re sober.

If you’re only looking to gain length then I would do all of the stretches bundled if that’s the way you choose. Bundled blasters are incredible but all of the basic stretches are also incredible when they’re bundled. Are you using a Lengthmaster for this?

I mostly use my hands although i sometimes use your original length master the white plastic one which is more basic but still works well.
I am still waiting for my endocrine system to fully come back online so my erection quality is not the same which really brings down the quality of my workouts. My T levels are at 246 which they say is low normal but my body hair has diminished which is so freaky. I am trying to eat foods that promote my endocrine system and I just want to say how much I appreciate you and this site I am very grateful .
I am looking to get my whole penis back in shape when my hormones were rockin I did dry jelqs, compresion squezes, erect bends, wet jelqs etc I hope to get back to that as soon as I can.I have so little energy but i am trying

You are a fighter and I’m very proud of you! Only people like us can understand how destructive opiates are. I’m honored that you have come out with such a personal issue. I’m looking forward to you getting everything back and better

DLD,
I need your help on this, when I sit and try a bundled blaster it makes my penis feel so much shorter and I get so depressed.
I could do them with ease but since the weight gain frim the opiates my fat pat is 10 times more and i have a gut i never had before also my forearms are much bigger as well. When I do a stretched length measure standing up I still have a good result if i push down on the fat.
Do you think its the additional weight and distance I must now stretch that makes my penis feel so much shorter?
I have to really rare back and its still difficult when before I could just sit in a normal position and do the bundled blaster with ease.
This is weighing so heavy on my mind I just hope it is the weight that has changed things and that i have not actually lost size.
I respect so much that you have been through this darkness and come out a champion it really keeps me trying.

How is it going brother? I hope you have gotten your lost length gains back and your weight is good now? I can see that you were here on the 24th of July this year.
