Hanging Question

Made small gains (finally 6 inches!) But I noticed that after each session my shaft started to bruise, in particular the sides and back of the shaft? It goes away after a day or two, but I am confused as to why that is happening now.
Is there any way to prevent that? I must be doing something wrong.

Congrats, brother.

But I noticed that after each session my shaft started to bruise, in particular the sides and back of the shaft? It goes away after a day or two, but I am confused as to why that is happening now.

Bruising occurs in two factors: damages to the capillaries because of the heavy weights, or strapping too tightly while having partial erection, causing some blood to form at the pressuring sites. This happens more on the glans than the shaft, but when the foreskin is folded at the strapped sites, the blood happens to pool into those folds by chance, causing slight bruising.

Is there any way to prevent that? I must be doing something wrong.

The beat proactive method is to pull the foreskin straight, wrap nice and flat to prevent the skin from folding into the wrapped area, and strap on the hanging plates or strap onto the cushioned area.

Congratulations on hitting six inches. That's quite a milestone. As far as the bruising goes Oldandlively gave you excellent advice so follow that. So is the next goal seven inches?

Thank you!
This makes sense, but in my case I don't have a foreskin. Could it be that the weights are too heavy? I am only doing 15 lbs right now.

Yeah I am hoping to get seven inches next, but I am still trying to figure out the reason these bruises/red are occurring after hanging. It doesn't hurt or feel sore upon touching it, but just looks scary. Thankfully it goes away the next day, but if I hang again then it returns.

Hello there I have an issue I'm dealing with recently it's regarding the frenulum I manually stretch and I use a ads hanger to remain enlongated for 12 or more hours any day I work out, the thing is I recently suffered an injury the ads was rubbing on my frenulum part( I wear it while walking it's got 1 lbs attached to it)it eventually created a cut which made me take a break from PE came back and the cut was healed but couple of days after I'm wearing the ads the same and now protecting the frenulum with a band aid so the ads does not rub ok it and I noticed that with time the cut came back this is really concerning for me I lost some gains I hadn't cemented due to the break I had to take almost 2 weeks or more and it's coming back not allowing me to even get a proper manual stretch going, what should I do? Should I go to the doctor?

Yep. Way too high of a weight load and for too long. Normally, most of us would use higher weight load around 8lbs to 10lbs for 15 to 30 minutes, and crank it way down to around 4lbs. Unless you have a very tough tunica, you don't need a whole lot of initial weight stress load to break the tunica, and decrease the weight reduces the stresses where the body doesn't react to place the penis into a preservation or turtling mode.

Yes, that will go away after a few days of rest and understand it's normal to get bruising and red spots. Be sure to do a warm up and a warm down as this will help combat those issues.

I appreciate the response! I was thinking this more like working out like progressive overload after getting used to the weight before. But I will go back down a couple of lbs.

Let's establish the upper, middle/moderate, and light weight for your penile shaft. When you hang, try to measure the highest hang weight before you feel that achy tug. You indicated 15lbs. Try 10lbs for 5 minutes to see if you get that pull and achiness deep inside. Rest for 2 hours. If 10lbs causes a lot of pull, reduce to 8lbs. If not, push to 11lbs. Try every 2 hours to measure the upper weight limit.

For the moderate weight, take the upper weight and reduce to 2/3 of the upper weight. That is your moderate or middle weight. It can vary between 1 or 2 lbs.

Lower weight is always 1/4 of the total highest weight. Commonly, it starts at 2.5lbs.
