Grey hair in beards due to poor diet

I have so much gray hairs in my beard now, I think it looks good. Maybe the stress have increased them? 🤔

But I believe it's my genetics in my case. Nothing to do, just accept it fully.

I am all white head to toe

I made a mistake in 2020 by staying on a heavy protein diet. It affected my beards by turning a few grey. Please does anyone know foods or better still, supplements that I can use to reverse the hair to black.

It wasn't caused by genetics. It was caused by a high protein diet. Please I will cherish all comments.

I read on Google that I should apply coconut oil to the beards at night before going to bed.
Grey hair could also be caused by a deficiency of copper, if I remember correctly. Could be a multitude of other factors as well, but you should consider doing some blood work to rule out that possibility. If it is just a copper deficiency, then it is an easy fix.

Will do so brother.

Proteins don't make the hair turns gray. The stresses from proteins only digestion causes the hair turn gray. Your cortisols fluctuation at high level causes that hair to loose pigments. My whole head is full of gray, and I eat very well balanced diets. It's the overall stresses you put on your body that causes your body to age faster and gray rapidly. Don't go into fad diets, but nutritional diets. Fasting is something different as long as you provide the body the proper nutrients it needs.

Countering the body's again effects will take 10 to 20 times longer as everything needs to reset. So, start your process by eating things more cleanly and properly. Rather than simple carbs, complex carbs. Rather than any proteins, lean proteins instead. Balance out. The WHO and nutritionists of the world came up with tons of proper dietary plans that are more than balanced for all ages and active types. Just search for the one that best suits you. By the way, don't be vegans nor vegetarian. We are human, semi-omnivores. Eat like one.

I just have really good hair especially for my age. Although I have to dye my hair, it's extremely healthy.

I have rarely washed my hair and I think that has been the best advantage to keeping my hair
Yep I think you have that right..Besides commercial shampoo, and all those products aren't as friendly as they may seem.Just water no soap, nothing..?

The very few times that I have washed my hair. I've done it with just water. I think that shampoo and products like it cause hair loss

You actually hit a subject that has been proven. Just use Castile soap, going back to basic and natural.

I probably wash my hair once every six months. I keep it combined and brushed perfectly. And I only wash it when I have to and that's done with just water. I keep it combed so I do not grow dreadlocks

I wash my hair from time to time, mostly with only a mild conditioner. Sometimes using shampoo. But if I'm honest, our hair is not supposed to be stripped from it's natural oils all the time.
