Good news, Bad news.

Seems like with everything good, comes something equally bad. I swear my life is like an episode out of 'as the world turns', lol.

Anyway, the good news first. I've officially got the job I had and interview for! I haven't gotten a start date yet, but I should know by early next week. Finally got that help desk job I'd been looking for! $15/hr here I come! woohoo!

The bad news... I called it off with my old girlfriend. After getting yo-yo'd, I finally put an end to it. She actually expects me to sit by while she has an ex-boyfriend stay the weekend with her. She wants to see what she really wants. My response? I'm supposed to sit there and wait while another guy fucks my girl? Fuck that, I'm done with her, lol. I'm really better off without her, I deserve much better.

So this has been both a good week rofl and a bad week <:(
 
Just inquired about your interview before I saw this thread. Congrats on the job.

As for the girl, forget about her. You definitely do not want her if she is showing that kind of disregard for you. Most anyone deserves to be treated better than a standby for someone.
 
Congrats on the job, and congrats on freeing yourself from a unequal relationship. Judging from past posts that you've put up, it seems to me that you're way to nice of a guy to have to put up with such a manipulative **insert your choice of expletive here**. You deserve much better, and now that you're going to be raking in some more cash flow you can go out and frequent the bars and clubs more often to try and find someone better.

Thanks for all the support guys. With each hour that goes on things get a little easier. It's hard that we had plans for this valentines day weekend and now I have to spend it alone. Oh well, I plan on hitting the club this weekend. It's been a long time since I've been and I've got a heck of a lot more confidence now.

One funny side note, I got an email earlier from her blaming me for sending her that 'check out our new look' email from dld/jaz. She thought it was a virus or something. She really needs to get a life, lol.

I guess she forgot she joined the forums to check up on me, which means, duh, you're going to get emails every now and then, lol.
 
Too add to the good news, I finally decided to spend some money and bought a membership to yahoo personals. I'm starting to wish I hadn't, I cant keep them at bay! lol

I'm talking to 3 different girls already and just signed up last night! I'm afraid of whats going to happen tomorrow! lol

How does that work? Just curious. When I get some things straightened out in my life, I'll likely try some online personal service, as I'm quite busy.

I just made a profile and sent out a few reply messages.

look for the link that says 'Personals'. It's amazing how many girls are actually on there. There were 520 WITH pictures to choose from in my area. Couldn't imagine a more populated area.

I poked around for fun last night. It did have a ton of girls, but apparently only lets you check out a certain number of them before you have to pay.
