As it happened again today, the new software clashed with one another. We've created a different remote chat channel to keep us up-to-date on the web forum's news.

The chat channel is to provide up-to-date information on the status of the web forum server. It's not meant to provide in-depth info on PE routines. We will not back up the chat data from the Discord Channel.

Do be careful not to provide sensitive info:

• DO NOT provide person info linking you to real life. Just like here, we don't track you down. We only offer information pertaining your needs according to your info you provided. There's no personal sensitive data beside PE related.
• DO NOT provide any financial information. This is your for own sake. We do not ask you to provide such information.
• DO NOT install the Discord app and grant full access to your mobile device, nor your personal computer. Discord lacks the security layers to provide your devices. We do not request you to give us access to your system. Discord app will collect personal information from your devices, your contact list, and resell the info to buyers. This is where the company makes the money. So do review which granting option you allow Discord app you're allowing to access. We prefer you to use the webpage type access to the Discord Channel. Bookmark it and save it somewhere on your browser.

Brothers, make sure to have the Discord Channel (Discord - Group Chat That’s All Fun & Games) bookmarked somewhere as a backup visit for MoS. If we go down again like earlier due to IBM intermittent screwups, at least we have a place to talk to and get the latest news of the server.

Once again, we already decided to migrate out of IBM messes and to a different Cloud Platform. IBM is a sinking ship and we're not about to stay on it like the passengers of the Titanic.

Just a head-up notice to everyone, IBM has been sending quite a few notifications about Moderate Impact and High Important notices for service disruptions. I believe a few members already spotted the recent disruptions through lags, timeouts, and just plain site's down for 10 to 30 minutes. If the site goes down because of multiple upcoming upgrades from IBM's side, the Discord Channel is available for us to jump over. We are still backing up daily on all posts just in case.

IBM is such a shameful company.

Can't say IBM is a shameful. The company went a bit too far and too fast on expansion of the services and can't back things up in the long run. The biggest problem is outsourcing its support when the other supporting person knows less than the one running the virtual server.
