Thanks man. She is supposed to be home next month, but I'll beleive that when she calls or emails to tell me she is on her way to get on a plane. You wouldn't believe the things she has told me about what is happening over there. "It is getting to be more and more like Vietnam all the time" I really wish they would send everything stamped "USA" and not bolted down home asap.

I support the war in concept and theory, but I'm disgusted by the way it's being fought. Let the handcuffs off those soldiers and let them clean house. Get those radical anti-American journalists out of there and let military journalists take the frontlines, as was done in wars past. Insurgents are not uniformed command and have NO PROTECTIONS under the Geneva Conventions, as they have not shown the same respect towards us. Insurgents should have a hollowed-out pig head placed over their heads and they should be impaled for their fellow subhuman insect insurgents to see, reminiscent of what was done by Dracula in Europe centuries ago. When I see our soldiers getting court martialed for putting panties on heads and having dogs bark at the worst of the worst criminals over there, it disgusts me.

Sorry for the rant, but this angers me. If you decide a fight is worth fighting, fight it and kick ass in no uncertain terms.

I'm prepared for getting blasted by this, but as much as I do not want to see any more casualties from any side plenty of the insurgents have plenty to be upset about. I know I'd pick up a gun if a military for whatever reason their country says and blows up my house and kills my family. That much I know I'd do, but I also understand that and unfortunately it has to be this way as things stand they are NOT my family and not my people so I really don't care for their problems anywhere near as much as I do for those men and women from the U.S. that have to fight and face them every day. I really never understood what reason completely justified this war to ever begin (I wrote my congressman for whatever reason explaining my concerns in January of 03 about nearly all of the things I thought could possibly and now are going wrong in terms of the leaders and mangement of the war pertaining to the people higher up like SEC DEF Rummi and wolfowitz and particularly what Bush and company wanted to accomplish..I could see what they were doing the fucking bastards) but I did tell the comgressman that I trusted if my family had to go it was in the best interest of this country specifically. Not that he had any real power in that time or would one stupid letter from a highschooler do anything...I thought the country was just...I don't know it seemed like we were in a mob or mindless go with the flow mentality.

No, I never meant for the war to hijack this topic. So for that, I apoligize. Even though I am 100% against the war in Iraq, I will never apoligize to anyone for my wifes commitment to her duty. She is a pilot and could have gone DNIF(Duties not involving flying) to get out of going. She does not agree with it either but it was still her commitment. BTW, Wasn't our president a pilot who DID go DNIF for not taking his required yearly flight physical???

My sex life is not that much less depressing than the most grim stories of war.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread either, as there are plenty of war-related threads on the board. Just had to vent about what I see as costing lives. Iwant8 and koooky, no hard feelings because I disagree with your respective positions.
